When we met Filastine at Sol de Sants studios we knew this Furious Session was going to be different from the rest. We usually don't invite electronic music bands, but that doesn't detract from the fact that Filastine's live performance blew us away. With Grey attacking the sampler, and Nova hypnotising us with her sirenesque voice.
Colony Collapse addresses the war humans are waging on nature. While, in the beginning, humans were one with nature, they are now hell-bent on its destruction, solely concerned with any profits to be had. Their music video depicts scenes from the battle.
The track forms part of their latest album, Loot, released by the record label Post World Industries, headed by the Barcelona DJ Mata Hari which promotes fresh air and rebels from our city's internationally acclaimed electronic music scene.
