Thank you for this tutorial! I gave it a go with a travel theme and while it took me awhile (because it's more challenging than other projects I've taken on and I'm relatively new to this craft ), I'm so glad I stuck with it! I emailed you pictures if you're interested. I really appreciate you taking the time to teach. Have a great day!

What brand is your score board ty

Do you like that rotary trimmer? I’ve gone through so many brands and types of trimmers and can’t find one I’m happy with.
@InkyOwlStudio3 жыл бұрын
I feel your pain about the trimmers. The top three things I love about the trimmer is that its blade stays sharp, it cuts through multiple layers/thicknesses, and it sturdy and stable to cut on. The 3 things I don't care for are it isn't the best for super precise cutting, it does take up a substantial area on the tabletop as it is too bulky to put away and get out all the time, and there is quite an initial investment. Since I do a lot of cutting, the trimmer has worked well for me and held up great over two years of heavy use. Hope this helps! Thanks for subbing. 😊XX

@@InkyOwlStudio It definitely does help!! My main issue with the ones I’ve had is precision. I just want one that comes out precise by butting it up against the thing! Ya know, the THING 😆 I don’t want to have to measure both sides and line it up! If I have it level and you’re telling me it’s 5 inches, it needs to be 5 inches on BOTH sides! Not 4 7/8ths on one!!! Ugh! Lol. Since my comment my Holtz comfort trimmer came in the mail. It’s very precise and sharp, just not always big enough. Sigh….. I guess I’ll buy ANOTHER and get the big one 😆

My concern was masking tape or Washi is they both will become brittle opening and closing, soTyvek would definitely be a better choice..

Can you tell me the brand of file folders you used. You are right you need to use heavyweight ones. I bought some at Dollar tree and used one to make a small folio and I had cracking because they are thin. I am looking on Amazon but there are so many to choose from so I thought I would ask you if you can recommend a brand to me. Thank you.
@InkyOwlStudio3 жыл бұрын
Hi Patricia, I use Staples heavy weight but I think Office Max would have the same. Staples in my area has curb side delivery if you are interested. Thanks for viewing!
@patriciadowd29483 жыл бұрын
@@InkyOwlStudio Thank you so much but I found them at office Max yesterday. My husband and I had to go out to the co-op to get vegetables and flowers for our greenhouse so we ran in Office Max and they had one box of the heavyweight ones left. I did find out something interesting. I had looked online and saw where they had them for around $10.99 or so but the box in the store was double that price. When i got to the register I asked the girl why the price was double in the store then online and she said they allow for shipping charges online. If you mention the cheaper online price they let you have that price so i was charged the $10.99. Just thought I would mention that because i was not aware of that.

You crack me up! Obviously you didn't go to school in Michigan in the 60s, where you might have memorized Henry David Longfellow's LONG poem: The Song of Hiawatha 1855 Longfellow On the shores of Gitche Gumee, Of the shining Big-Sea-Water, Stood Nokomis, the old woman, Pointing with her finger westward, O'er the water pointing westward, To the purple clouds of sunset. Fiercely the red sun descending Burned his way along the heavens, Set the sky on fire behind him, As war-parties, when retreating, Burn the prairies on their war-trail; And the moon, the Night-sun, eastward, Suddenly starting from his ambush, Followed fast those bloody footprints, Followed in that fiery war-trail, With its glare upon his features.

Does anyone know what brand score board she has?

Hi Ronnie! I use an older one from Memory Keepers. It is the 12" larger one. I believe they still make this size plus a smaller one. 😁
