nay. nay....she died of a complication during her procedure. The case was investigated and seen as an example of negligence. Her daughter got a nice settlement. Not a murder, for certain !!!!!! a typical day in any OR. Sh.. can happen and it does. Murder is never possible in these OR's as there are many specialties involved that all work together. You could never synchronize a murder. Impossible. It is naturally risky to perform any procedure. People do not seem to understand that. Only the few of us, who have worked there, know, how complicated it can be as people can suffer cardiac arrest and die. It happens. People also have died in the dentist office as they are never ready to perform proper resuscitation , when people have an arrest. I have never seen a crash cart in a dental office. They just don't practice it, enough to be efficient.
