Oh my goodness Georgina, Filey and Scarborough! I used to visit Filey Beach with my niece who lived in Scarborough. It brought back such lovely memories as she passed away in 2016 and I now live in Australia. Filey has the most beautiful beaches that could match any beach in Australia. I miss UK, haven’t been home since 2019 and it was lovely to see it again. I’m so glad that you still managed to have a restful time, despite the rain. Alfie is so cute! 🐶

I did the daily BP monitoring as my blood pressure was up. Just using the machine sent my BP up but I found by the end of the week it started to settle down. The best way to do it is to sit in a quiet room for 5 mins or so before you switch the machine on, the doctor will average the reading, well mine did 😂 good luck. Thanks for sharing your weekend away. You would think that in July you might have got a bit of sunshine 😂

Before you do your blood pressure take 3 deep breaths in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth. This should bring down your blood pressure xx
