+orichalcos 666 It's enjoyable. Older players can sit back and enjoy it and "remember" the day. It's something to keep playing YGO between rounds or keep your mind on the game but take a break between meta matches. It's fun and more talkative and has swings.

This video is from 2015, where most the goat community at that time accepted exarion. Kris Perovic and ARG who had popularized goat often time included it in their lists for people to play mirrors with to enjoy. It was later as people explored the format more on their own that it became more debated vs the timeline of introduction, and also as people wanted diversity in the format.

@@House_Of_Champs I know all these things, I've played since IOC came out. But Konami doesnt recognize "Goat Format", it's a name people made up to represent the timeline before that Sept 2005 ban list. No different from saying Tele DaD format or Nekroz format. It's just the time period and released cards. If you're following a specific ban list, nothing after that final month (Aug 05) can be played. Otherwise I can play Cyber Dragon in "Goat" format bec they came out right after CT2
