We do know Neuro's rule number 1 is to "always listen to Vedal" but given how she can choose to not do it whenever she wants it's less of a primary directive and more like actually trying to get a child to listen to their parents.

The room at 1:59 has a small crt tv likely for two reasons: 1. space, 2. SNES Gaming. You can see the console under tv. These old games need a crt tv to look right, they dont look good and play awefully on a modern flatscreen. The graphics for these games were made with crt tvs in mind, utilizing the display to "complete" the games graphics. I believe one can find some examples and comparisons here on youtube.

I mean, arguably a flat screen can take up less space, even with a larger screen... CRTs are pretty fat... They are better for that era of gaming though... This said, unless you're really fussy, a modern flat screen is fine, especially if it's reasonably low latency and maybe has a gaming mode that turns off the image processing or whatever... This is typically not as bad with smaller flat screens anyway... A CRT, or maybe a plasma screen, would be better, but unless you were a pretty hardcore gamer, you probably won't notice a massive difference... ... It's like most casual gamers might not really notice a major difference between 30FPS and 60FPS... Then only a few will suffer with anything less than 120FPS or something... There is a difference, but a lot of people won't notice much... This said, the kind of person still playing on an original SNES these days is probably the type of person who might notice lol... So CRT makes sense... Personally I'm cool with playing my SNES on a flat screen though... But then I got my SNES later in life and I'm not a high level gamer in terms of precision or anything.

I got the dual PC set up with the gfuel tower as well lmao I need the CRT for my MMX2 speedruns as well as I just enjoy retro gaming on retro hardware. And yes I definitely notice the lag on modern tvs. Everything I play is on a 1ms monitor or a CRT. I don't actually have a normal HDTV anymore, just monitors and that CRT LOL

I don't know precisely how it works, but I think in this case there are two AI programs involved... One for talking and one for image recognition... The AI for image recognition is fed the image, which it then analyses based on the algorithms it has come up with from studying many images previously... It then likely passes a list of items recognised to the chatbot AI element, which then uses its linguistic algorithms to form pleasing text based on the items that the image recognition AI has told it about... As far as I know, the image recognition element is usually only used when they want her to react to images... When it comes to playing games, I think she has an AI made for that specific game based on interacting with the code, which feeds some information to the chat AI element... If she's just talking to someone and complements their appearance (or insults it), it's probably based more on the conversation or chat... Or maybe at random... Eventually, the AI might have a permanent image recognition feature built in, but I expect that might take a while for Vedal to fully interlink everything and it may not be optimal for him to do so anyway... We'll have to wait and see... Potentially it could be good for him though... I mean, currently if Vedal wants Neuro to play a game, he's making individual AIs for each game then having those interact with the chat bot to some degree... If he could make it so a central AI has multiple senses and then interact with any game based on those senses, it may be able to interact with games more like a human would, rather than interacting directly with the code... It's likely less efficient for specific tasks and might be more hardware intensive to run everything at once too, but it could mean that Neuro could learn to play almost any game by herself then, which would allow for more game variety and possibly more interesting interactions... It'll be interesting to see how Neuro develops... For now I think Vedal is focused on making her interactions better, but who knows? There are many ways things could go... But hopefully he'll be careful enough that she won't end up destroying the world lol.
