Filing of certificates of candidacy in Pampanga begins

Former Porac councilor and provincial board member Mike Tapang and former Porac vice mayor Charlie Santos file their COCs for the mayoral race on October 1.
In Angeles City, the Lazatin brothers swap political roles as outgoing Pampanga 1st District Representative Jon Lazatin files his COCs for mayor under the political party Lakas-CMD. His brother, incumbent mayor Pogi Lazatin, is running for the congressional seat under Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.
