I'm American and my favorite surfer is Medina, so rad. My least favorite of all time is Toledo. It has nothing to do with any country. I love De Souza with those deep beautiful bottom turns and Ferriera radical modern Tom Carroll. Toledo is not a world champ in my eyes. Your bigot comment sucks man.

Pipe can be very unforgiving if you have a day you're not feeling it even if you're considered one of the best. Best you don't. When in doubt, don't go out. Felipe backing out hurt no one, but Felipe. The good news is Felipe will live to surf another day and be there to raise his kids and take care of his family.. I'm not big on pro surfing anyway. I surf for me.

he literally went on special trips with coaching just to learn to not be scared and surf bigger waves like three years ago. Didnt pay off. He also absolutly has something to prove, prove that the new wsl format of final 5 is not a mistake letting surfers who are not at all well rounded from winning.
