Everything you say here is 100% true. If you want to know of your Filipina really loves you and isn't what i call a proffesional girlfriend (they are the girls that only date foreigners for their money and usually have several boyfriends on the go at the same time). Then do what I do with everyone now, judge them on their actions and ignore what they say until you truly trust them. A Filipina that truly cares for you will offer (in alot of cases if she is visiting your house she will just start cleaning up without even saying anything) to clean your house, clean dishes want to clean you clothes. She will want to be with you all the time, will cuddle you and kiss you as often as you will let her. (yes to some western guys this can feel like being smothered as she is there cuddling you like a limpet! For as long as she is with you Lol). Personally i love that trait. B One big tell tale if your Filipina truly cares for you is she will hold your hand when out and about walking or going to shops, Filipina that truly care for you show it to other Filipina (to scare them off basically it's the jealously thing) by holding hands which tells other Filipinas this is MY guy back off! If she walks ahead of you or with adding small distance from you or refuses to hold hands after first couple of dates, then she is probably just faking her affection indoors for what she can get out of your wallet. Speaking of your wallet a genuine Filipina girlfriend will treat your money like her own and try and save you as much as possible not spend it all. My Filipina genuinely gets annoyed at me when I buy her gifts, yes she does like them but she always says I didn't ask you for this why did you buy it? I can't help it I like giving her small relatively inexpensive gifts, but she always tells me to stop doing it! Give a genuine Filipina £100 for some new clothes and she'll come back with a full new wardrobe of clothes and £90+ change! What western women would do that! Back in 1986, I met a filipina that was working in a bar. Such a pretty girl, very sweet, caring which made me cautious but we went out...even spent the next day together. Come to find out, she was a Philippine Constabulary investigator, looking for underage girls working the bars. She wasn't supposed to "barfine" but did because I showed her kindness and respect...as well as being a handsome young man. She broke a rule and almost lost her job. Once I get myself a Filipina and she becomes overly submissive to me like letting me have a final say; I will ask her to reduce her over submissiveness. I will feel guilty inside me 😔 to see my woman just obeying everything that I put to her. I believe that in a relationship, a woman should still have the space to disagree with me without being afraid. She has the right to express her unhappiness and disapprovals without any fear or doubt. I want a woman who will respect me, not a woman who will fear me. She must still reserve her rights NOT to obey me if she has reasonable grounds to do so and by the way, I the husband must also be prepared to accept my woman's instructions if she has reasonable grounds to expect me to do so. The word should not really be OBEY; I don't think when people are in marriage, they are there to obey each other, I believe it's about complementing each other rather than obey each other. The word "obey" it's a subject of "Command"; in other words, obedience follow commandment. But lovers are not in a relationship to command each other, they are rather in to completement each other.

Planning to marry her...She did all the things you mentioned for me. Very caring, 100%, BUT, she had a secret local boyfriend that I found out about. She really tricked me, everything was perfect... Her 2 year old baby, brothers, sister, Nanay and Tatay, her friends, and her relatives all loved me. So I will never be in a LDR again. I retire this summer, and I will move to the Philippines and find a "Real" woman.

You can deal with these things by taking two years to get to know her and visiting her numerous times before marrying her. Also, refuse to give money to any woman until you are married and keep separate bank accounts after you are married. Refuse to give money to her family BEFORE and AFTER you are married. And last, date someone who is closer to your age instead of a woman who is 30 to 40 years younger. If you do these things, you won't have to concern yourself with her being genuine. By the way, all of these things would apply to both Filipino and western women.
