congratz ms crishel because it starts to look like becoming really nice piece of architecture! construction staff looks happy hahaha, really good work. deserve some praise also. grabe pards, ibang clase inyo! dapat beer at adobo. my neighbor had these red and brown chicken, long time ago. itlog na itlog. I was a boy and played with one, then she killed it and we ate it. awwww.... tell them the one that pecks you first gets eaten first! in our regional dialect we call the rooster "kokosh" ^_^ once I made a speaker cabinet with 10 little but different size speakers from old broken radios and TV sets. I had a big thick wooden box for it. it sounded really good, not very loud but it could be heard a long way everywhere around. professional quality speakers might cost a few hundred dollars new.

Here in the West we pour the concrete floor first, with the rebar sticking up for the hollow blocks. It's stronger. We do lay the first two layers of hollow blocks first. Unless you do what is called a monolithic pour, the footer and the floor slab at the same time. Which is even stronger.

I admire your focus and determination, but I have some questions about the quality of the workmanship on your new house. I'm not a builder, but I want to give you my Western take on this. Are you sure you are getting good quality? Does it meet local standards? The wall you showed at 18:00 was not straight and bulged in the middle. That is obviously a problem. What redress possibilities do you have now and in the future? Also, the rafters are very thin and therefore weak (e.g. if you choose to put solar panels on them later). They also look untreated. Best to address these issues now. You should also use gutters along the entire roof and not allow the water to gather in a concrete channel. That will store up problems for the future. The corrugated iron roof may be cheap, but it will surely heat up the house like a furnace.

very good points, I think it is a matter of budget and working hours available. within that frame they are probably doing well. obviously, the foreman has experience, and no one does such mortar work without learning the craft and practise. I hope they can still adjust, because their method seems versatile. * I hope support by viewers will help to overcome. * about the roof, it is a matter of air circulation and double shielding, arabs, koreans, and some others have brilliant techniques just with the geometries of building and roof. the japanese have these special tiles, but they are expensive. the sun should see only white color, or polished metal that mirrors back everything. today, all the knowledge is available in the smart phone ;)
