Andrei, the correct complementing noun for" Russian girls married to Filipino men". The term Filipinos is for general use, male and female. But when used singularly, Filipino refers to a male, Filipina refers to a female. If you want to emphasize plural form, then you can say Russian women married to Filipino men, Russian men married to Filipinas or Filipina women😊

hi andrei, thanks for the positive comments you have about filipinas, but maybe those were based on your observation while you were in the philippines. In addition i would say filipinas are generally hospitable, generous, hardworking, friendly, etc. . your encounter with the filipinas there in siargao was mostly with filipinas in the country side, who you can also call the locals . in cities or urban areas, filipinas are career oriented, indpendent, educated and fun loving. . these are those who are mostly employed in the office and companies. Their ways are modern, Many of them are cautious in dealing with foreigners. Maybe because of the fact that they are aware of the negative impressions of some foreigners to filipinas who called women as gold diggers , opporunists and like foreigners for economic reasons. that's not true to all filipinas. those who experienced difficulty in finding decent jobs are the filipinas who are mostly in the countryside and those who are engaged in domestic work. For some of them, their belief is marrying an afam could help them be saved from poverty and their life would change. NOT ALL FILIPINAS HAVE same MINDSET LIKE THAT. there are genuine filipinas, the kind hearted, the friendly, the sincere lover, the hospitable and those who treated foreigners with gentleness like what you experienced. I am glad of your shared experiences with the filipinos in samal. I believe that you are guided by the universe and that you have a good heart, that is why they are good to you also. I wish you can come back here in the Philippines as well as your family. Just be careful for there are also some bad guys here. At least you have russian community and som filipino friends who guided and helped you on how to deal with the locals who are very supportive while you are in the philippines. in urban areas cost of living is expensive, as you experienced in manila. i suggest you watched hungry syrian wanderer vlog. he has good time here and brought his family here and established business in the philippines. you can watch how his life here progressed. he is based in Las Pinas City and does his vlogs mostly wihtin manila. his vlog cn speak many things about filipinos he dealt with. Just my observation, I've noticed that if a Filipino marries a Caucasian (white) woman it is usually one from the Eastern bloc, like. Russia, Latvia, Moldova, etc. I think this has to do with culture and family values. Western women (German, French, Americans) when they want an Asian man usually pick Thais or Koreans. Slavic women are very attractive but often they are taller than us. 🤪

True with the case of Russian women definitely! The Russian women aside, the Western women who I have most frequently met in real life that have gotten themselves a Pinoy partner here in the Philippines tend to be women from the UK, France, or Germany... The women from the likes of the USA are way behind in that regard in the Philippines, but tend to do very well in places like Thailand! Australians tend to do very well in places like Indonesia on the other hand, though in the Philippines are quite behind the Russians and other European countries I mentioned.

When you marry a Filipina in the Philippines, expect you will married to her entire family! To some extent you will share the financial burdened of the family specially if the girl is sole or one of the breadwinner of their household. Whenever somebody in her clan is sick or in dire need of financial support expect your budget to be stretched to accommodate their needs. I’m a Filipino so I know this, my wife from time to time keep sending money to her brother who have a lot of children he can barely sustain. Its exasperating and sometimes downright frustrating and if you’re a guy who can’t rationalize the situation properly resentment toward your spouse will build up and eventually leads to a world hate and pain. This is the dark side of Filipinos nuclear family oriented culture.

It's not unfair to Filipinos. Precisely, it's a predominantly Catholic country and the government thinks of the welfare of its citizens and their spiritual well-being. Seminars are held before marriages to ensure that both parties know what they are doing and they both have vows during the marriage ceremony. "What God has put together, let no man put asunder". The Philippines values God & family. It is important that children be taught and raised accordingly. Divorce and other acts not of God will never be legalized in the Philippines.

I smile when you mention about skin color. Yes you are right most of the Filipina girls want white skin influence by Korean Skin glass. Nowadays they drip gluthathione with collagen and places. While Russian girls like to have tanned skin because they are white. God in heaven I think get funny why human being has no contentment of their skin color 😂 But for ok to have brown skin as long as we have no health problem. Divorce in the Philippines is less because very expensive many hearings to be done in the court. Filipina also are hospitable and family oriented but still it depends how they are brought up by their parents. The character started in our home and since Filipino has mix culture of different races the Filipina lady depends of what they are brought up in their respective family.

I am a Filipino and I have half Spanish, half Chinese, half Mediterranean and half native in my ancestry but my physical characteristic reflected the Mediterranean. As a Filipino I know the true meaning of Filipino is always an immigrant and half-half nationality or called Insulares(or Filipinos) in some distinct born to occupy the land of the natives we write in spanish or in english characters since we Filipinos are sold to USA by the Spain who are the Peninsulares that think of themselves as the First Class. On the other hand, Tagalog, Bisayan and Mindanaoan are the natives who are people of "Baybayin" or the Baybayin people sadly they were being branded as "Indios" by the Peninsulares and also Insulares(or Filipinos) but they are gold in character they have the S.E.A. dragon spirit in the community or called bayanihan spirit who are described to be as hospitable, generous, humble, forgiving, noble and mutual support which is sign of good fortune. There is always a division of racism among the people of Imperial Manila who are Filipinos and the Natives or Baybayin people especially in Visayan and Mindanao. If you really aim to have a good wife in the archipelago look for the natives, they have a good character than "Filipinos". Filipinos are highly westernized and racist, but the natives are polite and respectful. Someday the name of this nation will no longer be the same and the true identity of the native people who are living in this nation will soon to be revealed.

Andrei there is no divorce in the Philippines because it is against the law which is good, right? Wrong.
