if your looking for a filipino meatless meal options which is best eaten with plain or garlic rice you should try: tofu or mushroom, squid, shrimp bangus(milkfish), or even tuna sizzling sisig variants. Laing(taro leaf cooked in coconut milk/cream with chillies or fried spicy garlic bits. ginataang langka(unripe young jackfruit cooked coconut milk with chillies or sometimes also with prawns in it). ginataang puso ng saging(banana blossom cooked in coconut milk). ginataang kalabasa(squash cooked in coconut milk with string beans, okra, eggplant sometime with shrimps, clams or mussels). adobo kangkong(water spinach adobo). chopsuey(cauliflower, carrot, snow peas, celery, bell pepper, mushrooms cooked in oyster sauce).

I recommend the chef creations. It may not be the same as served in restaurants but good enough. The rest are budget meals when we are on the go and we want quick and cheap meals to eat. Sometimes I also dine on instant cup noodles.

There are a lot of big asian brands that have a "localized" version. Think of McDonalds w/ Filipino-nized menu. So Japanese, Chinese, big name brands do have local versions of their products here like the Nissin Cup Noodles. And yes! Rice is life. We eat carbs over carbs and drink some more carbs ^_^

Ill tell you what we gave in Adelaide south Australia the Servos petrol stations have is the Chicken roll you put it into the microwave for 30 seconds its really yummy 😋 i love eating rhem rolls at the servos
