For anyone that doesn't know, the background color behind the character portrait indicates which assist is picked. Red for alpha, green for beta, blue for gamma. Some characters' portraits cover their whole tile (Phoenix, Sentinel, and a couple others) during the match, making it really hard to tell, but on Character Select and while the match is loading it's clearly displayed.

I love this commentary and KBrad has earned his position in the FGC, however, this commentary shows that there are really only two kinds of contenders in Marvel. Either you are good and make people not like you because you act full of yourself, like FChamp does, or you are good and actually play the game with some humility and respect, and go basically unnoticed for it. JWong: Genuinely makes predictions and focuses on providing good info and commentary KBrad: I'm so damn good at this game man I'm serious I woulda blocked that I'm too good to be hit by that. You dont have to prove that KBrad. The entire FGC knows you have earned your position by being godlike at Marvel. The proof is in your results, not your words. The only people who like showboating are those who showboat. Otherwise, it's just a bit obnoxious. Otherwise, an excellent set with excellent commentary. I truly enjoyed this, even if it seems like I have some gripes.

spencer came in with his assist move and hit phoenix because i assume fchamp wasnt blocking the right way because he thought nova(the active character) was to his left rather than his right. but even though nemo gets the hit he drops the combo and phoenix recovers.

So, also not an expert, but I think it's tricky because of the tri dash. Wong does it all the time with storm. I think what happens is they could go high or low off of the down forward air dash so that in itself is a guessing game but seeing them come from the air its hard to expect a low attack for the angle they approach. But im mostly talking out my ass XD
