THIS REMOTE ISLAND PARADISE IN TAWI TAWI MIGHT BE ONE OF THE BEST PLACES IN THE PHILIPPINES!
Mapun is an isolated municipality in the Sulu Sea. This part of Tawi Tawi isn't just one island, but actually quite a few. On this day, we take a boat to one called "Manda". What an incredible experience it was! The ocean is pristine and turquoise, the sand is powdery white, the rock formations are powerful, and the corals are beautiful! Truly this is an island paradise... one that I feel to blessed to have set foot on. In this video, you see us spend a beautiful Filipino family day and enjoy the beauty of Mapun.

The best thing about this island is- the fine sand beach the nice rocks cliffs the coconut trees the trees the big catches of fish nice corals and its not inhabited, all are there ! The only missing beauties there is a waterfall and a cave ! 🖖✌👍🏖🌊

Kabayan, naka anha nakog Mapun when I was still in the active service. I used to be assigned in PRO BAR as deputy regional director. Mapun is really a nice place. May I suggest that you also visit Turtle Islands municipality. It is also a nice place.

I hope Mapun will have a tourism boom and help provide more work and livelihood for the people, but a still preserve their culture and environment. Among the Tawi-Tawi municipalities I've seen in youtube, I think Mapun is the more peaceful, friendly and fascinating. Hope I would have an opportunity to visit that place

For me the best moment was when Kulas dipped a piece of cassava into the communal dipping bowl, and grandma reached over to add a piece of fish. Princess made a quick glance at Kulas for his reaction and Kulas went ahead to swallow it. Acceptance on both side.

You made your new headband in Tawi-Tawi. And you went on an island hoping. And you swim and see fishes and corals 🏊🐠🐠🐠🌊🌊🌊 And some of the corals are soft and some of the corals are hard. And you had a boodle fight on the beach were they had fish and sea weed 🐟 And they had a rice 🍚 And they use a banana leaf as a plate on boodle fight 🌱🍌🐟🍚 And they had a mashed cassava which like a nilupak and a cassava suman and a cassava puto 🍠🫔🍙 And there is a rock formation on the beach. And you can even smell all the way the dried fish 🐟🐠 And they even had a dried squid 🦑

tourism industry has not been established properly yet in Mapun. there's still a lot of things to do because we want our place to stay as it is even with tourist around. there will always be positive and negative effects of progress.

I’m not a marine biologist, but the corals doesn’t look alive…not much vegetations. Usually you’ll see sea animones and other sea weeds when the water that clear and turquoise.
