Filipino hating on Azerbaijan

My negative experiences in Azerbaijan as a traveller. I have had more negative experiences in Azerbaijan than positive ones.

Interesting observations about a country I know nothing about. I can learn by reading Wikipedia, but first hand stories are great. I have been to Turkey, Egypt and Isreal back in my Navy days many years ago (Med cruise) but didn't remember any interactions that much with the people

Interesting you love Armenians and hate Azerbaijanis yet they are so similar in almost everyway. Obviously you have some bias. If you complain about Azerbaijanis being hateful Armenians are even more hateful. If you complain about Azerbaijanis being ignorant and uneducated LMAO have you met Armenians? These are literally the same people with same cultures.

I actually have met Armenians. At the time of writng this message, I have visited all Caucases countries (Russia. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia) while you haven't. I have met Armenians overseas and in Armenia. Both communities and people were much friendlier to me and respectful than ignorant azeris. They did not cal me racist things an were more open to the world than azerbaijan is. They aren't the same people with the same culture azeris are Turkic and Muslim and consider themselves as turkish equal to Türkiye as what I was told by an azeri woman. Armenians are not Turkic, they are also Christians and speak an indo-european language. I strongly suggest that you do some more research and travel to these countries before you place an ignorant comment

I'm currently in Türkiye, and even the Turks here are more respectful and open-minded than Azeris who are ignorant and closed off to the world. If the azeris and the Armenians are the same, then they wouldn't be fighting in the first place as there would be peace. Instead they continue to rewrite their history, making it so that they are the originals there, which isn't the truth. If azerbaijan says that the UN and international community doesn't need to worry about peacekeeping in Nagorno-Karabakh, then they should be able to allow UN observers in Nagorno-Karabakh without worry. Instead, Azerbaijan is hiding something. Is so obvious that Azerbaijan is hiding something.

I’m from Azerbaijan. If you look at your own country, in Manila, everyone sleeps on the streets, there are people living in graves. I regretted coming to Manila, First visit your country and then talk. you only have islands where tourists go

I was born in Manila 😉 At least Filipinos, even Manileños, aren't racists and yell Asian language at you. You were treated with respect in the Philippines 😉 . Yes you're right, we have islands where tourists go, and people who sleep in graves and eat trash/rubbish food. I would rather be with those people than Azerbaijanis who are racists, rude, and promote war with hatred.

@@Just4Kixs We get along well actually with the Armenian nation, but it is a warring state, everyone's poor children are dying, 17-18 year old children. When I was in Egypt, I talked to many Armenians, they said that only the poor die, this is politics between states, between the rich.

I think last year, Azerbaijan literally attacked Armenia. Not that "Nagorno-karabakh" but actual Armenia as in the sovereign nation. Funny enough the past few weeks I been studying about that whole history between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Never been to either country though. That is interesting about the illegal migrants staying in Azerbaijan. Didn't think Azerbaijan would put up with that as they are ruled by a dictator. I am curious did you see any Western tourists? like from U.S., Canada, U.K.? I am half Filipino but just look Mexican haha. At least that's what most people think I am. I am not surprised people stared at you sadly. I know in places like China they do that to African people. The Hospitable but hypocrites reminds me of a lot of people I met while living in Alabama and Tennessee. Welcoming on the surface but will talk behind your back. And as far as their religion thing, I remember reading that most of the Azeris are just not religious at all. Being Muslim is just a culture thing for them as you also find in places like Turkey.

Yes I saw some western tourists from the UK mostly. A lot of the white tourists come from Russia though, and Azerbaijan still trades with Russia, so the sanctions of goods into Russia placed by the international community isn't really working because Russia still gets goods and parts from other countries that trade with both Russia and sanctioning Russia. Plus the Russian tourists bring back goods into Russia from abroad. I've been to Russia and the Sanctiins themselves don't really work. It mostly affected me when it came to payments and money. I couldn't use my foreign cards but had to use cash. And I digress again. But yeah, there are heaps of tourists in Baku, and less so in smaller villages towards the Caucasus mountains.
