For the information of everyone, the guitar-sound you’re hearing from this song is originally played by Samaon Sulaiman. He is a Maguindanaon Filipino. He used Kutyapi instrument. The Maguindanao kutiyapi is one of the most technically demanding and challenging to master Filipino traditional instruments. The instrument has two strings. One of them provides a rhythmic drone. The other string has movable frets that allow melodies to be played in two sets of pentatonic scales.
