Interesting. What is the purpose of the ankle lock things and how would they do it in a real fight? I am sure the other person would simply pull his leg away. Some of the empty hand stuff would never work, unless they did it against a person using a weapon. People using weapons move in ways that are different than empty handed attacks. Perrys and Joint locks usually only work against weapons and not empty hands.

@Kaen Awoken No, when people have empty hands they throw jabs, crosses, pull their hands back super fast and are able to twist out and grab. When someone uses a weapon they thrust forward and give you their arm basically. The only time it works on empty hands is if they grab you and give you an arm yo joint lock. You never see any kinds of trapping or joint locks often from standing position in MMA either.

@Kaen Awoken No if you are defense about it you can pull something off but it is always an opportunity and not a goal. You don't actually close in and go for it. Usually when you are moving away and they reach out to stab you can do something if the opportunity arises. If not then don't do it. There is a difference between a defensive reaction and attacking or trying to fight them. The empty hand techniques in this video simply will never work because empty hand people tend to kickbox and do ground fighting and don't just throw a punch and leave their hand extended such as this video.

martial arts masters in the philippines teaches martial arts on one-on-one basis... they don't teach in groups... and even if they did... its only in small number... however, there are less martial arts enthusiast in philippines... probably because, most filipino prefer taekwondo, kungfu, jeetkundo, karate... because theyre much cooler... and often seen in hollywood movies...

That is clearly not true. No way. The Kali masters in Philippines are the best. Numbers do not mean better.

In any case the school of "Filipino fighting art" had a high level .... I'd watch all there videos and it's sure better than many other schools

+MaharlikaAWA true... quality over quantity is better... but i am talking in a sense of filipino (most) mentality... they think other marial arts is cooler than fma...

+Kali Silat Evolution - IKAEF Algerien School... well, the old masters engage in death battle in old days. they signed agreement before battle... therefore, i can say that they have real-time experience, thus, are more than qualified to teach... a master without fighting experience, is not a master...
