Hi, there sir! first of all, thank you for making and sharing this kind of video. it was recommended while I was watching other vlogs of foreign workers in Japan. Perfectly timed because I'm slowing gathering Infos of how to apply for work in Japan and the experience of it. I am inspired and motivated to work abroad in Japan because since in my childhood I have great fond of watching anime and continuously exposing my self to Japanese culture. I'm currently working as an ICU Nurse here at Tagum City, Davao Del Norte, Philippines and ongoing on my 2nd year working status. as for my age, I' am 29 years old and this is what I am worried about and my primary concern if I am able to apply when I am at my middle adulthood age.

Warren Jayson Taojo Before there was an age limit, as far as I can remember it’s 35 or 40years old. But after our batch, I think the age limit was already removed.

Hi! the detailed information you gave is really helpful and it has made me want to be a part of it too. I have some questions po if it's okay with you haha. 1. Can a nurse practitioner apply for the program? 2. So you're already a nurse there is japan, can you proceed to a higher position? or do you have to study there?
@supersanji_tokyo4 жыл бұрын
1. If you're applying for EPA nurse candidate, you need to be a registered nurse and at least 3 years work experience. 2. You can proceed to a higher position but you need to undergo different trainings. I'm not sure of the exact requirements but some of my Japanese co-workers undergo trainings, make report and case studies etc..

@supersanji_tokyo4 жыл бұрын

Hi! Thank you for providing well detailed information! I just have a couple of questions po sana if you don't mind answering 😊 1. Would you say that the selection of nursing candidates for training is competitive? If possible, can you provide a number or ratio of the number of applicants vs number of accepted applicants🙏🏻 2. Do they have applications every year? 3. How many tries did it take you to pass the nursing exam in Japan? 4. How many years have you been working in Japan now? 5. What is your JLPT level? I hope you answer po. Thank you very much!
@supersanji_tokyo4 жыл бұрын
I don’t know the exact number of applicants. But what i’m sure is you don’t need to have a background on Japanese language to be accepted as a JPEPA candidate. In our batch, most of us didn’t have Japanese language background at that time but we were accepted. They hire every year (once a year usually 3rd quarter of the year). But I’m not sure if they will open the application this year (2020) because of the corona outbreak. Maybe the POEA will post an announcement about that.

I passed the exam on my 2nd try. I’ve been working here in japan for 3years (1year as nurse candidate, 2years as nurse)

@supersanji_tokyo4 жыл бұрын
I think they can apply for the Japan Nurse Licensure Exam but not as EPA candidate but apply independently.(?) Just like what other foreigners(not under EPA) do. But they should be able to complete the requirements asked by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. I'm not sure of the requirements though. I think they need to have JLPT N1.

Sanji Custodio Noted. 🙂 Thank you Sir for a reliable respond Im also a registered nurse here in the Philippines. Im planning to work there but I only have 2 years hosp experience 😞 its stated on the requirements that they need at least 3yrs hosp experience. However, hopefully someday I can make a way to work there in Japan 😊
