It's not about him being a light skinned or dark skinned filipino. Listen to his songs and pay attention to the lyrics. I haven't heard one song from his album without feeling goosebumps. The performance and deliverance of his songs are epic and different. There's a song that reaches out to everybody because this album is so diverse. You really can't help but be drawn to it. It's also introducing people to another genre that they normally wouldn't listen to. Then after learning more about him you can't help but admire his work.
