Yap Festival of light.. Tihar also know as Deepawali .. Tihar is the second biggest festival in Nepal after DASHAIN We celebrate 5 day 1st Crow festival 2nd Dog Festival 3rd Cow festival 4th Ox festival 5th Bhai tika...worship of brother...Sisters apply tika to the foreheads of their brothers n This festival strengthens the relationship between brothers and sisters for me this is one of the best festivals and If you do not have any siblings, you can make your best friend a sibling. no doubt every country has own culture and festival and In 2017I also had the opportunity to celebrate the Sinulog Festival in Cebu, Philippines

After dashain tihar is so big celebrations 😍 and someone nepali friends in Facebook greeted me like "happy tihar" 😍 and the favorite part is colorful rangoli and hanging lights in night 😍 and the people out there are dancing and delicious foods and dessert like sel roti by the way thank you to react bout tihar celebration hehe

Actually, we nepalese celebrate Tihar for 5 days. 1 days= for crow, 2nd day= for dog, 3rd days= goddess Laxmi day (goddess for happiness and money) 4rth day= for cow and Maha puja. 5th day = brother and sister day. And during these five days,we dance and song traditionally which is known as DeusiVailo. Nepal is the only country who do all of these activities.Because, we are still following our original tradition. Same with Dashain festival, we have our own original traditional way of celebration where no other country does that. Talking about India, Main India mostly focus on 3rd day only.( goddess for money -Laxmi). They do not have other day's activities like Nepal has. Thank you. Love from Nepal.

I feel proud to be Nepalese so many reasons here culture tradetion, foreigner should learn from our culture because here we think dog, cow,crow, snack so on as the symbol of god so Nepali love the animals ...like Dashain, tihar so many festival we are celebrate .. Dog, snake, cat, crow, rates cow all are our symbol of god...without animal,birds, here in world people have no life and they play the important role in ecosystem..without ecosystem here is no life of human so How this festivals are important? For thihar I would like to suggest to visit rural areas to experience typical kag tihar(crow festival) kukur thihar(dog festival), gai tihar(cow festival), goru tihar(ox/bull festival) and vitika(brothers).. If you wanna experience..
