One of my favorite italian entries. They did a great job, has your friend said "classy and sophisticated". Even more than this performance I love when they performed this song featuring Helene Fisher. They sounded fantastic and their voices and hers, harmonized perfectly. I love it when someone like Bon, who sings himself, makes a mention of Piero's wonderful voice. Il Volo is great, although this was not even their best performance (Ignacio had a cold Im guessing, so the last note was dodgy) this is still indeed a classy, sophisticated performance.

If there were another stage concept they certainly would won this ESC (IMO). The videoclip is awesome so I don't know what happened when they asked "hey, guys, what's about this year? how we're going to do it on stage?". Something similar happened when Nina Zilly performed "L'amore e femmina" (a GREAT song but a poor stage).

How do you feel about the fake audience sound on the 2015 Eurovision entries? I mean the sound-layer added during the performance? I think it was done to avoid the booing of especially the Russian entry in 2014. They didn't know they didn't have to in 2015, since the fans loved that Russian entry. But at least they added the fake audience sound to all entries to even out. They haven't repeated the trick since. Personally I think it ruins the experience.

I'm so glad Bon knew who Il Divo were because they're all I hear when I hear this song hahahaha. I also so hope Telemóveis is next. It's become one of my top 10 eurovision songs of all time!

You listen to Il volo’s song and all you can hear is il divo? I understand the concept is somehow similar but the voices of il volo are completely different from il divo, needless to mention the age is very different and also the nationality, none of de il divo members is italian, they use an Italian name because they sing classical music and that type of music comes from Italy, the 3 members of Il volo are Italian. I like il divo but their group is really the result of Simon cowell’s idea. He came out with the concept of a group that sings classical music so he created that name that makes people believe the members of the group are originally Italian, it was a good commercial name. I feel like il volo’s process was much more original, nothing was made up, those 3 kids were in an individual competition of classical music for kids and teenagers, the show put them together to perform a song and a famous producer heard their voices and after the competition was over he put them together as a trio, they were only 15 years old, not a lot of teenagers can sing classical music like they did, I gue
