Living in a foreign land without anything but yourself as the mere backbone for your child depicts only of unimmeasurable hardships and sacrifice to make ends meet and be able to provide roof over their head and food for their stomach. But thanks that Korean government provides free education to children till high school and make sure that the youth are academically educated till they reach 18 years of age. And thank God she's skillful and is able to see opportunities to make a living for both them at the same time be a great help towards her fellow Filipinos and Korean society. She's an amazing and wonderful mom, living a life of hardship is nothing to be ashamed of, but what gets me is the sons attitude towards his mom. I had a friend who was like that to his mother. He wasn't disrespectful or anything but he was very cold towards her. His mom worked 3 jobs to raise him, his 2 brothers and his younger sister, after his father went to jail for domestic abuse. It was just sad because, she might not have given them all they wanted. But she made damb sure to give them all that they needed. She worked so hard. We have a tight KnIt group of friends, and all of us come from homes where our parents are separated or single parent homes. Any way, he would always tell us how embarrassed he was, and how he never had this or that. Used to piss me off to the point where I would say, brother if you want something, get up off your lazy butt and get a job, money aen't gonna fall from the sky into your lap, you gotta work for it. So one night he ended up having an argument with his mom over something so stupid, his fault by the way and he took off from home. And he stayed at my house, 2 of our other mates were over, so we talked the whole night, mind you I lectured him sooo bad. Told him to pull his head in, get his butt home and apologise to his mom. I rang his mom behind his back just to let her know he's safe and sound. When he returned home 2 nights later, they talked and sorted things out. The next day when his mum went to work and was t boned at an intersection by a drunk driver who was also high on meth, and she died at the scene. That was really devastating. All of our friends went to the funeral, and we were shocked coz over the 3 days we were there, hundreds of people came to her funeral. It was amazing, she helped so many people, just one after another, people got up to tell there story about her and how she went out of her way to help them, and the impact It had on thier lives. There were alot of elderly people there, people she helped, she ran errands for, and all the while working her jobs and raising her family. It was only then that my mate realised just how much she did for him and his siblings and so many others. To make things worse, when the family got back her personal belongings, they found low dose chemo , and antinausia pills in her hand bag. She had been battling a brain tumour and no one knew a thing and she hid it and never told a soul. All our warnings in our group of friends for him fell on deaf ears until it was too late. So treasure time with your parents and loved ones, tell them daily that you love them and how much they mean to you. You can't change the past, but you can always change to make a better future. Tells them everyday, because tomorrow is never promised and you never know what tomorrow may bring. I cried watching this, I really felt so much admiration for this boys mom. All the memories of my friend and the way he treated his mom came rushing back. My mate is married with his own kids now, and our group of friends go away each year with our families and he's so loving and is always loving on his kids and his wife, kissing and hugging them, and it's nice to see. He told me one time, you really never know about life until you hold your babies in your arms for the first aye sis. I said to him, you finally know now what it's like looking through your mom's eyes now, he just said yeah. He always thanks me for all the advice and support and nagging and lectures through the years . . . . .lol. But hey that's what friends are for right? Still to this day, he carries the guilt in his heart for treating his mom badly, and he's learnt these lessons the hard way. But he is a great husband and an amazing father, and i think his mom would be really proud who he's become and of the person he is today. #LUV4SINGLEPARENTS4LYFE😊❤

Why is her son just finding out about all this with his father on a tv show?? Korean men do this to Filipinas a lot but she should not have told her son on tv program.
