Hi Sir, sabi mo po optional ang reversing po, paano po kung yung sales invoice po is na issue last month and the client wants to change it to current month, paano po kaya yun, pwede po ba na hindi na ireverse yun?

Hello, smile! Yes, reversing entries are optional. If this is the case, you check muna kung kailan ang month nadeliver ang goods or naperform ang service dahil doon dapat naka date ang sales invoice. Careful sa pagrereverse ng entries tulad noon. Hope it helps 🫶

@@FilipinoAccountingTutorial Sir partial delivery po kasi, ang mali po is nakapag issue po ako ng SI dated June and nung nag deliver po for completion nag ask po si client na palitan ang date ng SI, ang problem is na input ko na po yung sales last month,paano ko po kaya ireverse yun, patulong naman po kung paano ireverse yun Sir, di na din po pwede palitanang SI kasi on process na po sya.

Hi po. Ask lang po. May case po kami. Post closing trial balance po ang binigay and and pinapagawa po sa amin is "Posting Beginning Balances". beginning balances po ba yun for the next month? Atsaka po, need ko pa po ba mag reversing entries bago mag proceed sa posting ng beginning balances for the next month or hindi na po? Sana po mapansin niyo ito sir. Thank you po :)

Yes, Dhan. Lahat ng journal entries required ang explanations mapa adjusting entry, closing entry, or reversing entry. Example ng explanation for reversing entry: To record reversing entry for (*insert the adjusting entry*)
