This is true based on my experience, we're walking on the beach and these families waved at us using a plate and thought we've done something illegal. Skeptic, but we went ahead and they gave us plate immediately to eat. They're fun to be around.

They get so giggly around foreigners specially. They’re not mocking you or making fun of you, Filipinos are just generally happy . If you notice women get so giggly coz they just want to tease one another so much . Whenever Filipinos have food they always like to invite people to be hospitable . When I first came to the States I have to get use to Americans eating in front of you and never inviting you to eat or share their food . I'm a Filipino here in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao. When i was young, i rented a bedspace near University of Bohol just to stay for a week to explore the island. And i end up staying there for more than a month and enjoying my stay in Bohol alone. The simplicity of the people matches the glamorous beaches. Thank you, Jonathan. Enjoy. Filipinos get crazy if they know you are single 'coz Filipinos loves to be in company always. But not all. I am single, too and enjoying it.

Always remember that the property of private resorts don't extend up to the shore. Remember that in Boracay, a lot of buildings were demolished because they breached the required 25 meters setback from the shore. So you don't need to ask if the shore is owned by private properties. They don't own those shores much more if the shore is continuous. There will be no private shore and public shore in a continuous shore. All of them are public shore.

True. We laugh bcoz we are shy to talk to stranger, laughing bcoz we might say wrong word or grammar. We laugh bcoz were happy and kilig especially if the Foreigner is handsome and cute. U will see in their face they are happy. Don't be offended. If we are angry we will not invite stranger. Just be friendly to our locals and enjoy hospitality of the Pinoy.

According to Article 51 of the Water Code of the Philippines, shores of seas within a zone of three meters in urban areas, 20 meters in agricultural areas, and 40 meters in forest areas are subject to public use. So that means you can walk on the beach near the private property and even swim there.

My guy, you are perfectly in the right time to be in Bohol. If you have plans to get out of Bohol before May, you may want to cancel it as Bohol will have multiple festival through out the month of May. One of the biggest is the Sandugo festival. Literally the entire May, every part of Bohol will have their own Fiestas and celebration and the best part of it is that you are very welcome to go at any house and you can eat. I only experience it once, and it was one of the best fiestas in Philippines. I had multiple lechon in just one day during my time when I went there. It was awesome. Hope you finally experience it!

When we filipinos giggle and laugh so much when approached by foreigners it's because although we can understand and speak english, most of us are not comfortable in speaking in English or to be heard by our friends and family talking in a foreign language, so we tease each other or anyone who will talk to the foreigner first. But because we naturally love accomodating and welcoming foreigners you will notice that at although at first we are a bit shy, that is why there's giggles, as we get comfortable, the more we talk to you.
