What is the stain for Goblet cells? PAS and? I thought HE was used?

Hi Khaled. PAS/Alc (periodic acid shiff/alcian blue stain) is commonly used. Acid mucins produced by Goblet cells stain blue in Alc. PAS stains neutral mucins.
