I use a small funnel. Goes much faster.

I have trouble with a funnel as it collects on the sides then gets clogged up.

Heat set the glue after you have used it to stick your two fabric pieces together? And then you can stitch through it?

Yes, white or clear works! I only show clear because otherwise everyone asks if it's ok to use white school glue. It's the same! ;)
