Putting curriculum and just stuff in general away is like giving a mouse a cookie! 😅

I had this same thought. I always tell my kids that my entire life is one big “If you give a mouse a cookie” story. 😁

Hello love your channel! I’m new to homeschool this will be my 3rd year not consecutively but Lord willing from here on out! Your channel has been a blessing and a big help.. you not only demonstrate wisdom with homeschool but more importantly wisdom with Christ… I usually relate the word catechism to Catholicism… do you mind me asking what is the New City Catechism program you’re doing? Is it Biblically sound or are you studying it for convert purposes?? Sorry for all the questions about it.. just curious..
@GraceandGrit Жыл бұрын
It’s biblically sound. It’s not affiliated at all with Catholicism. It’s basically foundational truths every Christian should have memorized.

@@GraceandGrit oh ok… that sounds great! I will check it out… lol I love the organization and method you use but I’ve always said if my boys get homeschooled and learn anything the most important to me is their relationship with the Lord and their knowledge of the scripture 🙌🏼 so I love the fact that if you can’t get anything done in the day that something arises you at least focus on the scripture!! Keep up the great work momma!!!

In the process of doing the same! I have Health and The Human Mind unit (with the extra books) for my 8th grade twins, do you think this is enough for their science curriculum at this grade?

I will be entering my 3rd year homeschooling my kids. I have a 5th grader, then littles: kindergarten, pre-k and a toddler. What would you suggest for Bible study? I really would like to get my 5th grader into some apologetics type things but I'm overwhelmed where to start!
@christyfinley9099 Жыл бұрын
Master books has a good Elementary Apologetics course. I know Ashlee used it with her kids when they were younger.
