Filling an Epson Eco-Tank printer with alternative manufacturers inks

If you are using a reasonable quality ink it will be fine.

Can you add canon ecotank printer ink to it instead of its own ink? Technically the ink is all the same right?

it should so what you may want to do make sure you empty out the cartridge and then refill it. if its liquid ink then use a vacume cleaner to suck out the ink. then refill it. i have used hydrogen peroxide to clean the cartridge top section where the ink comes out to avoid any problems with detecting the mixed residue if any.
