You might've already seen this, sorry if so - The Critsomalus Fleece or however its spelled adds another layer of crit to your damage - the difference between your non-crit and crit damage. Since most of your orbs had equal damage, or even 0/0, it frequently wasn't able to do anything. It did still work with the Daggorb and the Boldorb, though.

For Swoltorb and similar buffs, Refreshes are the best synergy. However, that one relic that gives all Pegs Durable can also be very useful. Anything that allows the ball to hit a peg it already upgraded. And of course if the bonus is from a Relic, the Refreshorb can be absolute killer.

When going for the orbs that upgrade, splatorb is key, as it makes pegs durable

Tom that relic that makes a copy of refreshes and crits combos insanely well with the reorbanizer. If you ever want to go for that kind of build in the future. It's pretty fun to see your entire pegboard turn into crits and refreshes after a few bounces and if you also manage to snag a fleece you can easily get 10k+ damage combos with your 2nd or 3rd shots. Obviously anything that increases the amount of refreshes and crits on the board just makes it better.

Honestly you say that and normally I'd agree that's a bad pickup, but with the sheer amount of pegs he was hitting with the multi ball/refresh spam it was getting to the point where the average peg was like +7-12 with fairly frequent outliers at at like 16-24, this was like the one scenario where I'd say suffering was borderline integral

Duplication Potion plus the Re-Orbanizer is one of the strongest combos in the game right now

Reorbanizer in general is pretty underrated tbh, it has good stats and the effect can really save you from a terrible refresh spot

Gold only build is not only possible, but is totally broken. There’s a golden mantle item that deals all of your orb’s current damage to a target every other time you hit a coin. Downside is that you can no longer collect coins, so it’s rough to get early, but in the castle or mines you simply glide through the rest of the game.

Oh my gawd Tom is soo good at games, why is he not doing cruciball with his great strats of dropping ~4 damage from every orb (~8 on crit) for the relic which barely works with his build?

If you want build ideas I got you some. -Instead of using multiball with the glorious sufferingring relic use orbsmium relic which would empower each peg 4 times and also use MAX swoltorbs to gives each peg +5 on hit, its fun to see some pegs being worth like 100 or more depending on your luck. And for the AOE relic use the new echorb which once maxed to lvl 3 has echo 100 instead of the 30 it used to always have. -A true self damage deck: with bully balls, orblation and nosforbatu which now hits every enemy for 2 times your healing at rank 3. -you already kinda of did a refresh build, but try one with the newest relic you found in this run, the one that makes a copy every time refresh and crit moves. You can get your board full of refresh and crit its crazy.

Multiball should do less damage but instead of firing all its damage in one shot at the end it should fire like a machinegun of several shots depending how many multiballs there are so that way you can kill something and then damage the thing behind it. Plus imagine the machinegun build you could do if you stack it with multiball artefacts

You go in your settings and change it, I think you have to be in the main menu. I have mine set to 3x
