Rake is working well and the bales look great! Question to ask your Dad; almost all of his equipment is John Deere, what was the reason to go with a Case self-propelled combine? Could be as simple as cost at the time.

I can answer that one, that combine was owned by an elderly neighbor farmer. He went around the area harvesting grain for many farmers for years, ours included. When he got too old to do it anymore my dad brought it. It was just an availability thing and machine awareness.

We haven’t had much rain all summer. This week we are finally getting some. Better late then never I guess
