benepic Archbishop is a good idea but quest is too much. If you want add a card you have to remove one. There is no place in this deck for quest. Also quest makes this deck so much slower

The combo is hard to pull off, that would be adding another card you need to hold onto (as using it for tempo would considerably slow down picking up the combo pieces) and it would pollute your hand The quest however would be a good idea

As bored as I get playing the same decks over and over, I'd rather lose to a generic minion deck than one of these setups. I hate decks that just board clear over and over again until they play a cheesy ass combo like this. It's why I never play ranked past 19 - everyone either plays recipes or cheesy combos.

@@stompingpeak2043 You must play like a cheeky asshole, then lol I've only had two people do that to me, and it was for using my Secret Hunter, which uses a lot of the cards in "I Hunt Alone" - a very fun deck for me, but not for my opponents. Anyone who sits there and does nothing for the majority of the game but board clear and then wins by playing three cards is being a jerk - plain and simple. It's fun for the user to get away with a complicated combo, but for their opponent it's annoying as all get out as _they_ spend the entire game trying to play and instead get their minions auto-killed by Flamewaves or Shrink Ray Cannons or get them all shuffled into their decks over and over again just so the combo-user can stall long enough to pull an Exodia. It's a dick move, so I really don't blame people for getting mad at you if you play OTKs.

Had a shudderwock deck in Wild that did this. Fill their board with 0/8's, froze everything, filled the opponents hand with coins, and shuffled more shudderwocks into my deck so I didn't fatigue. It was the ultimate mix of OTK and Fatigue.

You could also go another mile and fill their hand with Bananas from Mukla, then kill off (or bounce back) the entire board and take away their chances to even play any card from their hand.

Well, then my hand fills with treasures because I was using Marin The Fox. And that means no shudderwocks. Plus, they can empty their hand of those spare coins all they want, I'll just fill their hand with 10-20 coins next turn. Either way, they won't be drawing more cards.

A great addition Would be adding Lyra. Since you have trouble pinging twice once you have the combo done, Lyra would give you the opportunity to ping many more times even if she lives one turn. You can also look for another mass dlspel if you had to waste both of them before you pull the combo

I tried a deck like this with Spirit of the Dead and that 1-drop that dies and gives you 8 armor. Ended up with full health and 120 or so armor. But - it had something like a 10% chance of actually avoiding disruption.

This is why I loved Shadow Era back when it was still relevant. It was chuck full of funny mechanics such as this that could just cripple your opponent to a point where they can't do anything. My favorite was definately a freeze mage deck, which had no minions whatsoever. Copied it from TotalBiscuit and then improved / optimised it. I also really loved the resource denial priest, which denied mana from both players. I actually took it to a tournament one time and was SO close to winning as well. Net decking is a by-product of people putting up decks with good/easy to set up combos online and then other people copying those same things. Its been going on since TCG were a thing. in the end it is not skill or talent that gets people to win, it is money. That is why i never got interested in Magic, it just 'how much money do you have to blow on 75 cards 600...2000?' That is why i play RPG, spend 30 bucks on a book once and you can go anywhere to any table and be able to have fun and effectively contribute to the adventure. Take that 600 dollar magic deck to table B and it is useless. Hearthstone in the end is a TCG, just on the computer, so it is going to have the same exact issue arise.

It's basically a nearly unsolvable problem with gaming these days. Developers want cash, the majority of paying customers are retarded children, and they want to be the few people completing the easy wins. Make a system where paying cash = win; and problem solved.

@@brspoplavsky The only classes I can think of that don't have any sortof counter to this just off the top of my head would be Hunter and Druid. Warlock has Hellfire, Twisting Nether and if the board permits, Defile. Priest has Psychic Scream, and depending on the board Mass Hysteria could work too. Rogue, as you mentioned has vanish. Mage has Dragon's Breath, assuming there's a spell at 3 cost or higher still in the deck. Shaman could either Hagatha or double Volcano, though the latter might not entirely clear the board, it'd at least make some room on the board. Paladin has Pyro/Equality as well as that spell (I forget the name) which makes every minion on the board a 1/1 Warrior has both Brawl and Reckless Flurry, warpath, and the death knight hero power (though the latter takes 3 turns to clear on its own) Leaving Druid and Hunter... I can't think of anything they have with could clear the board. At least not in Standard, fuck knows about Wild.
