The Moroccan Atlantic Coast is EXTREMELY diverse. Its southern part is a charming bay with a very strong sea current and beautiful, wide beaches stretching for kilometers there, which can be seen, for example, in the blue and white Essaouira or in the former port fortress called Al Dadzida.
It is for these natural factors that this part of Morocco is called a mecca for native populations and water sports in this surfing center.
In the transmission access lane there are also many medieval kasbahs, i.e. Arab fortresses, which are still protected in very good condition. Fans of foreign screens may associate these places with scenes appearing in movie megahits such as Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven.
The further north you go, the more hostile the climate becomes. Thanks to this, among other things, the entire country is urbanized.
Moreover, also on the Atlantic, there is the capital of Morocco, the royal city of Rabat, and the world-famous Casablanca, a metropolis in the country that has faced a migration crisis in recent years.
I cordially invite you to the second part of our Moroccan trip, in which we will visit Essaouire, Al Dzadide and what triggers the beautiful-sounding Casablanca.
