De când a ajuns la putere în China continentală în 1949, Partidul Comunist Chinez a persecutat continuu credințele religioase. A arestat și a ucis frenetic creștini, a expulzat și a abuzat misionarii care activau în China, a confiscat și a distrus nenumărate copii ale Bibliei, a închis și a demolat clădirile bisericilor și a încercat în zadar să extermine toate bisericile de casă. Acest documentar spune povestea adevărată a persecuției la care a fost supusă de către PCC familia chinezului creștin Lin Haochen. Lin Haochen a mers pe urmele tatălui său și a crezut în Domnul, iar, ca urmare a acestui lucru, în copilărie, a fost de față când activiștii satului veneau adesea acasă la el pentru a-i amenința și speria pe părinții lui ca să renunțe la credință și la eforturile lor de a propovădui Evanghelia. După ce familia lui Lin Haochen a acceptat lucrarea lui Dumnezeu din zilele de pe urmă, a fost persecutată și arestată și mai intens de către guvernul PCC. Mama lui Lin Haochen a murit răpusă de boală în timp ce încerca să scape de arest, iar Lin Haochen, tatăl lui și fratele lui cel mare au fost forțați să fugă de acasă și le-a fost aproape imposibil să se întoarcă. Ceea ce a fost odată o familie frumoasă și fericită, era acum dezmembrată și împrăștiată de persecuția exercitată de PCC…
