The PI on Hockenson was because the defender was holding his right arm. Otherwise he would’ve caught it.

Greg Olsen said the same thing and then they showed the other angle and he was alright I get it lol
@intrepidfool7 күн бұрын
Yep. The reverse angle shows him clearly holding down Hockensen’s arm so that he cannot make the catch. The hook with the left arm is fine but the right arm was the problem.

Yup, the refs got one right.
@coljones987 күн бұрын
It's also because the refs blew a call on I think B. Murphy pass interference and KOC was screaming at them and it felt like the refs were letting him know they'd get it back. It was pass interference on hockenson good call

After seeing Nwongwu this preseason and his really obvious lack of pass blocking skills, that i feel inevitably led to his cut. I have been trying to pay attention to our current running backs and how they pass block as much as i could. If you go back to Aaron Jones throughout the year, he has been really really good i feel on staying on his pass blocks. Go to the Jefferson 97 yarder and he was key in that giving sam just enough time to throw. i was like wow, he a good one lol. Ham is solid for sure. Cam has a little work to do. Also, not an expert.

If Darnold keeps playing like this we should resign him if he’s willing to take around $30 million. He probably wouldn’t do that, but what if he weighs working with KOC and his staff highly enough to do so? Yes, I’m willing to pay Sam and start him over JJ if he finishes the season strong. I think our superbowl window has suddenly burst open and we could benefit from throwing the kitchen sink at building around Darnold next year. Imagine this team with another defensive piece and a stud interior lineman or two.

Its been said, but to really make it clear, the zoomed in sideline angle of that hockenson PI very clearly shows the defender pulling hock's right arm. It's actually a great call, whether or not the refs actually saw it or just felt the need to call a close drop. But I had the same reaction of "really? That's a PI?" while watching until they showed the extremely obvious second angle

My question for the o lineman. The sacks that rocked Sam, who's at fault? Is it the o line or does Sam need to point that out? I never understood why Sam never fake hikes to see what the d is going to do? I also don't understand why Sam says "we're good" whenever it's a run play. It shows the d that it's a run play no?

I appreciate the whole Darnold is going to demand a high paycheck…but do you also think that he will be more selective of which teams? KOC is largely responsible for his success and I feel like Sam will need a coach who will “protect” him from himself…not saying KOC is the only one but their is a HUGE value in this…only a handful of coaches in the entire league…I honestly believe that KOC got the best out of Kirk but knew he should cash out for the future.

Who cares? These are professional athletes, the only way you make it to the league is if you HATE losing more than you like winning. Sam would be smart to leave some money on the table and go to another good offensive coach, mcvay and the Rams would be a good fit.

Damn, when you look across the line Bradbury is dwarfed. He's listed at 300 lbs, but he looks about 285-290. In years past, I remember him being listed at 305-310. It's also crazy to realize that he's 29 yrs old now. On a side note, I haven't watched all the breakdowns, but I thought Brandel had a very rough game. Looked like his worst of the season. Edit: Just listened to their review and yep, I was right about Brandel.

Dumb football question, Phil being a fan of WWE I think he will enjoy this question In WWE there is a thing called Wrestlers Court, which is a way for someone who is causing drama or issues in the locker room a way to be told to correct their behavior without getting higher ups involved. It also acts as a way for people to rib on the individual who is causing issues and normally would end with the offending party buying someone an alcoholic beverage of their choice. So my question is do teams have something similar to Wrestler's Court and if so, who acted as the judge overseeing said court?

I was never good enough to make the Bigs but fortunately started with a select few of you who did. One Thing "Young Hotshot Hotshots" need to learn is if Coach asks you to hold a Fucking Blocking Dummy, you hold Dummy. The only reason I started my Freshman year was because the Coaches told me to run 40's after 40's or hit someone I did. Today I am a Clinical Psychologist. I love what I do now and really respect and appreciate Offensive Lineman in the treanches against very Nasty Ass crazy Lineman like John Randle or a Harrison Smith who's arguably one of the Elete, Safties in the NFL today. Dumb Football Question: First off Skol, Lfg Sammy D. But when teams use play action. Sometimes the qb will open up and fake a hand off to the weak side. But the rb may not be on that side, or coming off that side? Is it to fool the defense? Wouldn’t the defense also notice that the RB isn’t coming off that side?

#1 reason that the NY Jets ditched their management. The Jets never sit a new QB to learn behind anyone. Ex Jet QB’s who are playing great? Darnold, Geno…. Instead of keeping Darnold the Jets wasted a pick on Wilson. The QB’s the Jets draft are always the youngest starters and never have a chance to develop.

Hello Guys, I have commented a couple times or so, in a positive manner, Love your show. Specifically Jeremiah, concerning the IFFY PI at the end of the game. What I see is who ever the guy is covering TJ is Hooking (or simply holding) TJ's right arm, thus he is unable to bring his right arm around to lock up with his left. It does happen very quickly. However, watch the end of the play and you will Clearly see TJ is WHIFFING with ONLY his left hand. You know TJ is Not trying to make a cool, one handed catch, lol. This automatically tells you something is awry, lol, the db thought he would get away with it., aaahhh NOT! That's it - Keep up the crazy good stuff.
