What a wonderful live session! Just a few days ago Film Noir came across my way. Found the 2 EPs and now this live video. In some way it is in the tradition of early 80ies New Wave, but it don't think it is just retro style. I reminds me a little bit at french band Charles de Goal - I loved this 40 years ago! Film Noir plays in a classic timeless style, not limited by traditions and genre guard rails. Josephine de la Baume is singing in a mix of French and English, the texts are in an epic way telling stories. I love the music not only while car driving but too on long distance runs.
