I've also had numerous Lost dreams. But they always focus on The Others before the Flight 815. Nothing exciting. Just the Others going about their daily business. Like Ben just eating lunch. That was an entire dream.

I personally wouldn’t say that Jack was worried about Sarah’s happiness at the start. Only after recognizing how his stubbornness contributed to his dad falling off the wagon, and then literally almost getting himself killed by flooding that room, he FINALLY lets go of wanting to satisfy his own dark curiosity… only then is he able to ask the question he should have been asking the whole time: is she happy. Characters change sooooo slowly on TV, and this ep is such an excellent example of how to achieve a nice little single episode character arc!

I remember the wait in between season 2 and 3 feeling like a million years. My husband and I (when we wer students) watched the episodes from season 2 onwards at our friend’s house every week as we didn’t have a telly but when season 3 episode 1 came out, our other friend downloaded it into his laptop and we were so excited we just couldn’t wait any longer so we watched it on the laptop with him and then about 2 hours later we had to go our friend’s house and watch it on the telly with them and pretend we hadn’t already watched it without them and I remember us being really over the top with our pretend shocked reactions 🤣

Honestly, I found him annoying during my first watch. I thought he over after, sometimes. But later came to appreciate his range. Pity we don't see him in much nowadays. (Very good in Tombstone, too)

I was holding my breath because I know that there's a scene in Season 4 that's gonna be ruined by the subtitles. Or at least with the Netflix American version. The original TV version didn't ruin it for me so maybe the subs for foreign markets are different.

Juliet is my favourite female character and in my opinion the best actress here. Her facial expressions were appreciated by fans and critics, she won several awards 🎉🏆 She is able to express all her emotions by simple smirk So excited for the season man!

I’ve watched this series several times over the last twenty years. By far my favorite character has finally arrived on the scene. I’m so glad you found her interesting as well. This episode revealed a side of Jack we haven’t seen before. Just goes to show we all are complex individuals and not easily understood.

JJ Abrams returned to create more mystery boxes and then turn it back over to Damon and Carlton to resolve. The season 3 premiere was definitely meant to stir the pot again! There's some behind the scenes lore surrounding the first half of season 3 (scheduling decisions, pacing issues, episode format regarding character backstories, etc...) that led to an unprecedented deal with the network for three more seasons of Lost that would conclude the story in a satisfying way.

The opening to this episode has to one of the best openings ever. I remembered it almost perfectly YEARS later. Was AMAZING watching it for the first time. “She did say he was dehydrated so…” 🤣 Episode title is the name of a book by Charles Dickens. The book Desmond turned to in despair was Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens. The Lost writers said they wanted to pay homage to the story-telling Master People in tv programmes n films are always so stubborn then it comes to food. Kate’s fry- up breakfast looks amazing n I’d b shovelling it in 🤣 And the cheese toastie, toothpicks n all.

I’ve had dreams about Lost before. I don’t remember them all but I vividly remember one of my dreams where Desperate Housewives character Bree Van Dev Kamp and Lost character Charlie Pace were in a scene together in coincidentally in Rehab. It was one of the strangest dreams I have ever had. The next time I was having dreams about the show I started writing it down in a notebook. 😂

Season 3 is amazing, i remember watching it in 2006/2007, amazing time. There was almost three months long break between episode 6 and 7, the wait was crazy lol. But overall Season 3 is easily my favorite, i really like S1 and S2, but Season 3 is just special for me for many reasons. There's lots of stuff that i actually deeply connect with and many amazing characters, some episodes are phenomenal.

I wonder whether they deliberately chose similar-looking actresses to play Sarah and Juliet. Jack's captor/interrogator looking like his ex-wife might have been a way for The Others to get into his head. Elizabeth Mitchell really was good as Juliet. She always had something going on under the surface. In this episode, she came across as kind and caring toward Jack, but at the same time she was cold and manipulative.

Naa..Jack in the flashback didn't care if Sarah is happy, he was possessive, obsessed, angry. You can sometimes see those character traits in Jack in some situations. But in present time he just wanted to know if she's happy. I think some time passed, gained some distance, and also he's in a completely new situation, so I think he could finally "let go" of Sarah.
