Biggest shock of the episode? That Sawyer and Juliet as a couple actually works. That scene with them in the kitchen didn't feel forced and it made me happy to see them happy. But than freaking Kate shows up. Ugh. Wish we could have gotten one more episode of Sawyer and Juliet without the Oceanic 6.

SULIET IS HERE!!!! Welcome to the best couple's side, Elie!!!! This is probably my favourite episode of the show. I love how the flashbacks work to tell their story and I love 70's Dharma!!!! About the timeline, the ones who stayed on the island stayed for 3 years too (but in the past) just like the Oceanic 6 in the present. Sawyer was talking about Kate when he says 3 years was more than enough to forget someone.

In Season 3 Juliet told Sun that long ago she used to tell women they're pregnant and that these were the best news they ever had and she could see it on their faces. She said she's helping Sun because she wants to give good news again. Took her few years to get there but seeing this joy on her own face when she delivered the boy from Amy is so heart touching ❤ Good for her ❤

Possibly my favorite episode of Lost and definitely my favorite couple! They have such good chemistry and really seem to make each other happy. The hints have been there, but it's still impressive that they escalated their relationship so far in one episode while making it feel so natural and genuine.

3 years have past for both groups at this point. Timeline looks like this: - Oceanic 6 leave island (end of 2004, beginning of 2005) - Island moves - for around 4/6 days, Sawyer, Locke &co experience the flashes of the island moving through time. - on the last day locke turns the wheel -Sawyer and co get to 1974 - oceanic 6 get rescued and start to lie (early 2005) - Locke appears in Tunisia in 2007 and try to convince everyone to go back -ajira 316: jack, Kate and Hurley travel back to 1977 The only person that doesn't experience those 3 years is Locke. For him, since the island start moving until Appearing in Tunisia in 2007, was about a week

This is all correct and I love the synchronisity of 2004, 1954, then 1974 .. and later 2007 and 1977. The only odd period out was 1988 but we needed that narratively.

Sawyer and Juliet are absolutely my favorite couple on LOST. They make perfect sense. When S4 ended one of the first thoughts I had was "God dammit they are going to put Sawyer and Juliet together and make the annoying love triangle even more complicated and annoying". So all of the little flirty moments at the start of S5 annoyed me. But in a single perfect episode they sold me on the James and Juliet relationship to the point that (no spoilers where they go with it) they are my favorite couple on the show by a large distance and one of my favorite tv couples of all time. Just two amazing actors with chemistry for days at the top of their game. LaFleur has become a top 10 episode of the show for me. It is perfectly constructed and surprising even though you know where they are going for most of the episode. This is top tier Lost!

The love triangle stuff is definitely very dated, but if you can look past that, the characters feelings for each other are what lead them to make specific decisions that are necessary for what needs to happen, too, so I'll give it a pass lol

That is the reason why Sawyer is the favorite character of almost all the Losties, the development he has is incredible. From being a lonely person, who only looked out for himself and wanted everyone to hate him, he transformed into a careful and concerned leader for others, worthy of having the respect and sincere affection of his companions and was finally able to find true love in Juliet. Sawyer is in the past, now he is James.

I like to think that the people who dug the well dug it exactly there after they found the rope Sawyer was holding stuck in the ground. Just to see where that rope led. I wonder what they thought when they found Charlotte's body, if they ever did. You can't change the past in Lost, but you can so much build it. Sawyer❤Juliet ! 4 ever !😊

It was 3 years for everyone on that last scene. The only 2 people that wasn’t 3 years for, was Locke and Ben. When they turned the wheel in 2004, both of them were teleported to the same spot, but Ben was teleported to 2005 and Locke was teleported to 2007. All of them in that last scene experienced 3 years since they all crashed, some on the Island as Dharma members and the others back in the real home.

One of my favs lost episode. No súper plot twists, not súper crazy reveals. Just a story well told. They achieve so much in one episode. You bought into a relationship that almost didnt existed before and everything so elegantly. They tied only two moments between three years and we fill all of the gaps. Not like other episodes which they do a collection of brief moments through time. If there is a character you can believe he knew everything from the begining Is Richard, he is great. You can tell he researched Sawyer after when he gave His file to Locke with His father information. He knew both very well. The Score of giachinno when Kate appears at the end still gave me goosebumps. ( He totally was referring to Kate when he was talking to Horace)

I'm sure many comments have clarified that it's been 3 years experienced for both sides. Lost is always so good at mirroring scenes. I absolutely love how it was done in this episode with James and Horace. In 1974, James wakes up on the dharma couch and Horace asks: how's your head... then in 1977, Horace wakes up on his couch and James asks: how's your head. It's just a great reversal for the development between the two time periods of this episode.

Yes sawyer was talking about Kate when he said he could barely remember what she looked like n was totally over her…n he seemed to believe what he was saying and I believe him. N then obvz he saw her face again at the end. Unlike a lot of fans, I really disliked Juliet. It wasn’t even her character, it was the way the actress played her, she always looked so smug about everything. But OMG - sawyer n Juliet….. When they hinted at them getting together at the start of the season it annoyed me n I wanted him to b with Kate. But then u get a 3 year time jump n just makes me so protective of 3 years worth of relationship that we didn’t see. Juliet would know him inside out. Sawyer would know the island more than any of the returning oceanic 6 ever did. They’ve lived a whole 3 years of life and seem happy and it was just wonderful to see. Sawyer smiling when he picked that flower was the most peaceful we’ve ever seen him look.
