I’m Italian american from NYC, my nonno and Nonna (grandpa and grandma) are straight off the boat from Sicily, lived in America the last 65 years… barely barely any English lol so on my birthday cards instead of my Nonno writing my name “Tommy” he’d right “Tami” so Furio trying his best to spell meadow’s name always reminded me of my Nonno

she stays with him because she loves him because something in him/it appeals to her like believing she can fix him and due to insecurities and whatnot… it’s usually how that goes… I’d say also self-hate and such but… and because she can’t just get friends, she’s not good at that and doesn’t wanna blab anything… so he’s the only one she feels she can be close to, because feelings…

I was never sure if this was intentional or not, but at the end when Paulie is watching the Yankee game (the baseball game) a Yankee player hits a home run.. the player was Jason Giambi, the only Italian player on the Yankees at the time. I always wondered if it was intentional to show the only Italian on the team hitting a home run as opposed to any one else

Personally I think Ralphie took out the horse as payback for Tony dating Valentina...it had nothing to do with Ralphie's son needing the money...If Tony knew that, he wouldn't have even thought twice about killing ralphie, but the son gave tony a small amount of pity for ralphie which didnt stretch very far...
