Overall Love is a talented player, but he still has tendencies to miss some throws he just has to make, and can also be careless with the ball at times. He had chances in this game but came up short, especially after the defense finally made a few stops, he didn't capitalize. Also needs to get better in the red zone. On a positive note, Jayden Reed is a superstar in the making and will make Love's life a lot easier. The guy can't be covered

His coach turned back into a pumpkin. He had like 4 good games last year and the majority of his good yards came from yac due to busted coverage. He is horribly inaccurate. The state of quarterback play in the nfl is just abysmal. Anyone remeber in the early 2010s? Drew brees couldnt win an mvp with a stat line of like 5400 yards, 45 tds and a dozen picks, yet lamar jackson gets an MVP with 3600 yards and 26 tds? Welcome to the running QB era, where QBs cannot read a defense and be accurate past ten yards
@denniswagner2391Ай бұрын
What confuses me is why he doesn't pull it down and run sometimes. He's got 15 yards of open field. He's good at sliding; I've seen him to do it. Are the coaches telling him not to run or does he just refuse? He doesn't realize it would help open up the passing game?

@davidbrown7357Ай бұрын
O line and footing due to field conditions played a major part in the quality of tosses and route running. The race was on to match cleats before the other team could outperform the other team. The team that found better footing quicker would gain an advantage over the other. The stadium field was not conducive to quality play. That was evident and not an excuse. I never want to see any NFL team play on that surface again. I'm surprised more injuries didn't occur. Jordan Orchestrated 29 point that's not trash that was commendable considering the surface conditions and spotty o line play

This is how completely stupid the Green Bay Packers organization is: Love holds out this past summer...Now, let's go back and examine the very end of the Packers last season. Love cannot complete a [5 yd] pass to a player standing right in front of him to achieve a first down and continue the drive against the 49ers. He holds out in the off season and the Packers accommodate his wishes. Hold outs for increased pay normally would be justified for a person who capable of coming through in the clutch. Love cannot complete the simplest of tasks....and they pay him anyways. Packers have winning momentum and team confidence under their back-up quarterback, but let's put the BQM (Black Quarterbacks Matter) charity case back in the game. Let's waste another season with Jordan Love and many other senseless decisions sabotaging any and all chance of winning.

The field conditions played a major part in the timing of routes. Plus, early in the game after love first slips, his calves tightened, making his attempted throws less effective. But the main issue was footing for all players. It just was not good football throughout much of this game. Chalk this one up to a bad decision by the league to play in a soccer stadium made for lighter, smaller men. Slick fields plays better for soccer rather than American football. Another example of money over player safety. Imagine if it had rained on top of it. The most effective runners were Hurts and Barkley. They both have a very strong base, squatting 500 lbs a piece. Traction and footing are extremely important in any sport played on grass
