Absolutely! This is 100% spot on. Crosby before this coming season didn’t have much help. And on top of that he has no help from refs, when it’s so damn obvious he’s being held. So many times I’ve yelled at the tv “where’s the fucking flag?” After Crosby was obviously held, but refs turn the blind eye of course, cause he’s a Raider.

They should start doing a stat on that ! How many times a player is held and not get the flag. Crosby would be well at the top of that stat !

The holding on Maxx is getting so egregious it’s disgusting. Especially when playing against the chiefs.just because he wins every rep shouldn’t mean they should level the playing field with allowing Tackles to hold him. I hope that changes.

Never takes plays off. Beast against the run. Never misses games. Smokes cigars like a cigarette drawback style. Only top DE that doesn't look like a juicer shirtless. Hes very close to being the best player in the comp.

Now that some pressure will be taken off of Crosby due to Christian Wilkins being added, I think this could be a momentous season for Crosby. They're D line has all the tools to be absolutely devastating.

He has a lot of unorthodox looking moves, but such great athletic ability and bend that he makes great plays where normal DEs couldn’t Crosby was scored in the top 98 or 99 percentile of athleticism coming out of draft and u really see that

Maxx Crosby is the best defender in the league. He has easily one of the best get-offs, great length, deceptive strength, can convert speed to power - and he's got plenty of speed - impeccable hands, has every single move and knows how/when to use them, sets the edge, consistently leads the league in TFLs while being in the top 10 in sacks, and top 5 in pressures. Elite in both phases, non-stop motor and never rests. What more could you want?

Koonce and Mad Maxx will be a great duo and one of the best tandems in NFL. Don’t sleep on Tyree either, played injured and out of shape over half the season last year. Plus Mad Maxx has the drive to be great. He is putting in the work like participating at Von Millers Edge Rusher camp.

To add to my other comment. The 2010 49ers had a good run defense. (9th) but the next season under Vic Fangio they went to number 1. They only allowed 3 rushing touchdowns all year. Overall in yard they had the 4th best defense BUT that running shut down WAS the reason they went from 6-10 to 13-3 the next year. (NOTHING to do with JIM H)

I wouldn't trade what he brings to the field for anybody else. Theres a trickle down effect to having good run defenders on the dline; they create more pass rush opportunities for themselves after that.

Over 20 times he was being held right in front of the referees and they still do not penalize him. Yeah, Max Crosby is getting held on every play almost so those other guys definitely get help from the refs.

Too bad he plays for a dumpster fire of a franchise. The Raiders will be lucky to win 4 games this season. They have no QB, their coach is bankrupt, their RB is in Green Bay and Davante wishes he were in Green Bay. The upside is the Raiders will probably picking top 5 next April; maybe they can get a real QB then.
