I went to school with Troy. He's very advanced at taking advantage of the secondary's mistakes. He's great at reading defenses and improvs on the fly, quickly and diligently. Solid pick.

His blazing speed is blazing in college. The NFL is like an All-Star league where the best players don't graduate out in 2-3 years, but hang around getting stronger and more skilled every season. And those drops will dramatically hurt his playing time. No point in having a guy in to catch the ball if he's got a high drop rate. The defenders in the NFL are much faster, the windows to throw into are much narrower and close more quickly and the defenders are bigger, faster and hit harder, so his lack of size could put him on the IR list quickly and often.

As an Oregon fan my big reservation about Bo Nix was that Oregon actually had the best receiver core in college football and it made Nix look better than he was.

@@griff9077 the buckeyes have the best receiver but Oregon has like four future NFL starters in their receiver core. Bo Nix threw to wide open receivers all year long so I never knew how good he actually was that's my main point.

@suites.74 Oregons core had to many drops last year on catchable passes, honestly I don't see them as the best in college football. Egbuka and Tate are projected to go high in the coming drafts, Ohio wasn't just a 1 man show last year all biases aside.

@suites.74 did we watch the same video. I know it cherry picking one guy but holden also had a big td scoring drop last year. He had a bunch of throws last year, so it's a small percentage change if the catchs are dropped or underthrown. Idk if he's gonna be good next year, but I can say I've watched him for a long time in college.
