I think this film is brilliantly made. It isn't one I like to curl up on the couch and watch very often, and I've only seen it maybe 4 or 5 times. But, yeah, it's a high-quality film, mainly because it manages to be intensely horrifying without hardly any graphic violence. The atmosphere of dread and decay is incredible. The sets and design are way beyond creepy! And the actors give great performances under all that obvious physical strain. I watched part of one of the sequels years ago on cable, but I can't remember which one. I know Dennis Hopper was in one of them, and I'd be curious to see what he was like. Great video, Jared!

@@grey1951 thank you and I agree that it’s truly fantastic especially with the lack of graphic violence. Because the violence isn’t as graphic as other horror movies, the audience can sometimes make it seem as if it’s more graphic than it truly is. Dennis Hopper was in the second film and that was in 1986, when he also appeared in River’s Edge, Hoosiers and Blue Velvet. Hope you’re doing well Mike, have a great night and a great weekend!
