That's not true. I believe him with all the other people have miscalculated. Because according to the manga, bakugou is able to summon sweat. He got this from him mother which her quirk is that she can some (I can't remember the name) and make her skin extremely smooth. Which he was lucky enough that it was passed on. So he'd able to summon the sweat. and not to mention he moves a LOT before he uses attacks, which as he has said before, makes him extra sweaty, Therefore, he can create bigger blasts. So then he's still sweating like a normal human if he chooses not to use his quirk.

My personal theory is that Bakugo's quirk is in two parts, based directly on his parents quirks. He sweats a glycerin type substance, like his mother. But his hands can emit nitric acid, like his father. Red Fuming Nitric Acid is highly reactive, so, glycerin-like sweat + RFNA == BIG BOOM. We make ROCKET ENGINES that run on a mix like this. We call this a hypergolic reaction.

You're forgetting one thing: the amount of sweat that he produces would be physically impossible and would eventually kill him, BUT there's a workaround. Instead of producing more sweat, his sweat could just be more explosive. He did say it was LIKE Nitroglycerin but never specified the conditions of that similarity. If he sweats the same amount as anyone else, that makes a single drop of his sweat insanely powerful.

At first I thought he could consciously secrete some kind of permanganate, but that is bright purple and reacts slowly with glycerin. No where near the immediate reaction we see in the show. 7:27 a nitroglycerine-LIKE sweat. that means his sweat could be a couple times more powerful or explosive than normal nitroglycerine. Bakugo could be sweating just a slightly larger amount than a normal human. the LIKE part of nitroglycerine-like sweat means Bakugo's sweat could be more powerful than nitroglycerine, probably a couple times more powerful.

I think a better thing to measure in this situation, is not how much Bakugo sweats, but how powerful his sweat actually is. He says it's LIKE nitroglycerin, this could simply mean it has similar properties. If we assume (based on the fact that he isn't dying, or sweating a ton) that he sweats like a normal human. We can attempt to find how much explosive power his sweat has.

You forgot to include the fact that kids get their quirks from their parents. He got the nitroglycerin part from his dad. But he got the ability to secrete as much as he wanted, at will, from his mom. This means that he’s not *constantly* sweating & that he can produce a huge amount because his mom’s side of the quirk lets him. His dad can’t do this because he can only blow up his sweat as it naturally comes out. Just wanted to clear that up.

Hello! There might already be a theory about this, but I came up with something and I'd like to know what people think. (**Slight manga spoilers**) If you look at a picture of Shigaraki online, he has shoes practically identical to Izuku's. I have had a theory/headcanon for a long time that Izuku wears his famous red shoes because they’re the only shoes that fit him- you know, the whole extra toe joint thing. But what if Shigaraki wears the same shoes because HE has an extra toe joint? What if Shigaraki used to be quirkless, and AFO gave him his disintegration quirk without Shigaraki’s knowledge to push him closer to villainy? It would give AFO the perfect ammunition against All Might, to have his mentors grandson be his enemy, and it would also explain why Tomura got his quirk late (the backstory’s in the manga, I’ll spoil as little for you as I can). It makes canonical sense, and it works. To add to this, quirklessness is rare, but it’s even more likely that quirklessness has a hereditary element to it (hence the quirk doctor from the start asking Inko if she was a fourth-generation quirk user). And who else in this series is born quirkless? Izuku Midoriya. This makes it more likely that Shigaraki and Izuku are related. And because we know (it has been confirmed) that Shigaraki is Nana Shimura’s grandson, I would like to draw attention to Inko Shimura theory. In this theory, Nana had two children, possibly twins- one boy and one girl. After she died, the two children were separated (maybe they went to an orphanage or a foster home, or maybe they got adopted, who knows). On an unrelated point, this theory also actually explains Inko’s reluctance to allow Izuku to become a hero, as her mother died in a fight against AFO. This would mean that Izuku is Nana Shimura’s grandson. …Which would also mean that Tenko Shimura (Tomura Shigaraki) and Izuku Midoriya are cousins. Because of the whole Dabi = Touya Todoroki theory, we know that Horikoshi is willing to put this kind of twist into the story. And from the direction that the manga is going, we could soon run into some of OFA’s old allies, who might give more evidence to this theory (or, alternatively, disprove it entirely). This theory may not be true, but it is certainly possible, and there are some parts of it (like the quirkless Shigaraki part) that could be true without the whole thing being correct. The only problem I see with the quirkless Shigaraki theory is that the doctors who examined him after he killed his family stated that his quirk was a mutation, not hereditary. I assume they learned this through both the crime scene and the bloodwork. The theory could still be true, but it seems less likely.

Does "mutation, not hereditary" mean "mutation, not [emitter]"? I would argue that it is possible for AFO to pass on mutation quirks, since the Nomu are usually mutated (although I admit they could just be using the "bases"/bodies of people with mutation quirks and then stacking emitter quirks on top). Otherwise, Shigaraki's quirk being a mutation quirk seems strange, but it might actually support the notion of his quirk not being "his", because of the scratching; while it definitely could be/probably is a psychological thing, his incessant scratching could also be related to a mutation quirk that doesn't quiiiite fit with his DNA. Yes. This was a poorly done theory.According to the wiki Bakugo's mother quirk is called Glycerin but the description of the quirk just states that "a smooth liquid is produced from her body at will", which has a "moisturizing effect". His father's quirk is called Oxidizing Sweat which states "his palms can secrete acidic sweat with combustive and explosive properties". It never states the name of the acid or liquid. Actually this whole explanation that I typed is totally pointless when you consider the fact that nitroglycerin is a SYNTHETHIC liquid. That means Bakugo is definitely not pumping out nitroglycerin from his sweat glands.

Given that NG has an RE of 1.54 (meaning its 1.54 times stronger than TNT) his sweat has an RE of 5.4Million, given sweat is like 99% water, we'll use 1Kg=1L. The Fat Man bomb (nuke dropped on nagasaki) has an RE of 4500 and it weighed 4600Kg, if we want the equivalent of 1Kg of Fat Man in Bakugo sweat, we divide the RE of Fat Man by the RE of Bakugo's sweat, 4500/5400000=0.00008333333, now, if we want how much of bakugo's sweat we need to get the same explosion as Fat Man, we do (0.00008333333*4600) and we get 0.383Kg. Thats 383ml... just over a can of coke. Fat Man yielded 20Kilo Tonnes of TNT, and Tsar Bomba yielded around 53000, therefore if we do (0.383/20)*53000=1014.95. If bakugo stored 1015L of his sweat, he'd be able to make Tsar bomba, Thats about three full Bathtubs

Katsuki's (Kacchan) *mom* has a quirk that enables her to sweat nitroglycerin at will, while his *father* on the other hand has a quirk that can make him produce acidic sweat with explosive properties, although he can't produce sweat at will, meaning he sweats like a normal person. With that being said, Kacchan is also a hybrid like Todoroki, since Kacchan can produce sweat at his own will (a quirk from his mother) and make that sweat explosive (from his father). MatPat's theory: Kacchan has to produce a lot of sweat until it becomes explosive (At least that's how I understood it...) But my point is that Kacchan doesn't really sweat a lot as the video says as to how much nitroglycerin is needed to make his sweat explode. Since his sweat itself is already explosive, he can make even a tiny little drop of his sweat explode. Which means that his mother's quirk is useful because it will allow him to make more explosions, and his father's quirk is useful because it can make sweat, even if it's just a little bit, explode. So it's more like that his mother's quirk was a power up for his father's quirk.

His fathers quirk was not sweating acidic sweat. It was oxidizing sweat. Regular sweat could explode but at a dramatically smaller rate. Glycerin is a much more combustible liquid. He inherited his mothers glycerin sweat quirk and his fathers oxidizing sweat quirk. This is what allows his explosions to be so big.

Loli_God Well even if the air was made out of pure steam Todoroki would still need to take water from an area 14 times bigger than the ice he creates. It’s not like the humidity instantly returns each time he uses ice either. He would have to either wait for the humidity to rise again or take water from even further away.

Here’s the thing about quirks: They aren’t necessarily what they appear to be. It’s probably not the ice we’re used to, just like Bakugo’s sweat probably not being actual nitroglycerin. For all we know it’s ice that somehow expands when it’s made so that less water is needed to make a bigger amount of ice

Buster Tornado Well Todoroki still mostly uses ice and rarely just melts his ice afterwards and in the first season and beginning of season 2 Todoroki didn’t even use fire while in combat.

Fun facts about bakugou that he can can sweat in command, he actually has two types of acid in his body one nitroglycerin and sweet glycerin that produce a sweet smell. Nitroglycerin only in the palm of his hand and sweet glycerin in his body. That's why he smell sweet even though he produce sweat

At least he won't smell bad, since nitroglycerin smells/tastes like burnt sugar (aka caramel) And besides, he could be only sweating this much from his hands, and the rest of his body is sweating at normal rates

Idk if you know this but he has a secondary use of his quirk that comes from his dad, and it's that he can sweat on command. He can also choose where to sweat when he sweats on command. So he is not constantly sweating that much, its just when he is blowing things up. His mom also has a sweat quirk, she can sweat some kind of other material. I forget what it was, but it was also kind of dangerous. So baku's dad and mums quirk combined and mutated a little and we have baku's quirk.

I mean.. Deku's quirks/all the quirks of One for All definitely take a large toll on his body, as it's not very fit to handle all the power it has even for the first quirk he manifests and takes a lot of training to even be able to control 1-10%

Ochaco's quirk isnt that dangerous but it shouldnt be underestimated. Todoroki's quirk is not OP but its harder to control since his quirk is different in temperature. If he uses his right hand too much then he'll freeze to death and if he uses his left hand too much then he'll develop a severe burn. The only known OP quirks are mirio's permeation quirk, OFA Full Cowling, All for one, Overhaul, Dabi's Blue flames, Tomura's Decaying quirk, and Eri's rewind quirk.

It’s possible that Bakugou’s sweat is many more times explosive than nitroglycerin as his mother sweats glycerin, but it is never specifically stated what kind of acid his father sweats. Also, unlike his father, Bakugou is able to purposely sweat on command so it’s possible that he produces more sweat than the average human and thus avoiding dehydration. I don’t think I’ve ever used the word “sweat” so much but it’s all basically speculation based on what I know and what I assumed. Great video tho

More likely than not, Bakugo has a secondary effect to his quirk similar to Mina. Bakugo's father is unable to control his sweat, and insteads sweats like a normal human, while his mother able produce glycerin from her skin at her command. Bakugo's quirk mutated into a nitroglycerin sweat that he is able to sweat out at command, similar to how Mina does not continuously ooze out acid from her body, she can control when she shoots acid. There is also clearly a limit to how much he can produce at one time, given by both the need to weaponize and store his sweat in gloves, and the fact that he needed hot water to open up his sweat glands to produce even more sweat

Something to add to the notes. Bakugo's father, while he cannot control the amount of sweat, it is stated that he can rub or clap his hands together to form an explosion. It is also stated that the sweat is produced in his hands, but nothing about sweat elsewhere. As for Bakugo's mother, it simply states that she produces glycerin, but not from any certain body part. So far we have seen Bakugo only produce explosions with his hands, but could it be possible that any sweat gland could produce his nitroglycerin? If so, not only could he add explosion gives to his arsenal, but his back is full of sweat glands, and he could literally pulls a Cyndaquiland blast anyone trying to grapple from behind him. The only place sweat glands are NOT located on the human body are the lips, ear canal, prepuce, penis glans, labia minora, and the clitoris. In theory, Bakugo's entire body might be able to produce nitroglycerin. Bakugo used Self Destruct *Edit. It should also be noted that Bakugo's quirk on wiki says can produce a sweat that is SIMILAR to nitroglycerin
