My family used to watch this show every Thursday night growing up. A couple years ago when I was stuck at home with a significant health problem for 5 weeks, I found Whose Line again on HBO Max and it helped me through a difficult and depressing time. I went to the final taping of Whose Line on 2/1/2023 and two other tapings before that. I snuck some video recordings and pictures during the final taping knowing it'd be the last time, so I can keep it as a memory forever. In case you're wondering, the final taping covered S20 episodes 11, 12, and 21 with Brady, Magnum, Mochrie, Stiles. I also had a suggestion that was performed with Kaila Mullady but it seems it got edited out in the episode but I can clearly see myself in the audience in the three episodes!

That idea of passing the torch is wonderfully happening in a lot of ways, such as shows on Dropout which carry on the themes and have even included Wayne as a guest. (If you haven't seen it, he was on an episode of Make Some Noise creating songs that definitely wouldn't have made it past tv censors, it's outstanding)

I was at the final taping of Whose LIne back a year ago on February 1st, 2023. It was my first and only time in the audience and I'd been watching it since I was a kid back in the 90s. It was one of the best audience atmospheres that I'd ever been in. And it was mostly because those who came out for the final episode were huge fans ourselves, we understood how to support improvisers, and there were so many random "We love you!"'s and "Thank You!"'s from everyone. Ryan, Colin, and Wayne (as well as Chip, Greg, Brad, Jonathan, Aisha, Drew and Clive, and the others) were such a huge part of my life, and while I'm sad to see them fully move on from the show, I am so grateful to them giving me the opportunity to relax and laugh over and over again for a majority of my life. Maybe they'll bring it back with totally new people, maybe they won't. But it's going to be tough to move forward with this show without Ryan, Colin, and Wayne. They simply are the best.

I really hope this episode honestly gets more love than expected because it truly deserves it. Whose Line use to be a thing when I was a kid with my brothers I feel like. We would typically watch it when it was on and share the laughs. As dorky as it sounds one time when the power went out and we were all bored I don't know who proposed it but we did our own pretend whose line to pass the time until the power came back on. It's stuff they likely would never do again and probably be embarrassed about it, but it's a memory that has stuck with me to this day. Also it doesn't surprise me Ryan would win out considering yeah, the Drew Carey show was a bit of a hoot and he was on it too.

Whose Line is one of the absolute greatest comedy shows ever made and it truly spans from the British OG version to it's most recent form. Amazing improv skills truly. When Wayne sings, it's hilarious. Ryan and Colin are so in sync and the funniest freaking guys! Whose Line was literally most of my childhood. my parents only really remember the time and day (of the week) I was born because it was about the time that Whose Line was on. My wife is currently dealing with her mother going to the hospital and now a rehab facility. Things are not great in that department. When she gets home, mentally and physically exhausted, it just so happens that a local station is playing multiple Whose Line shows back to back to back. Watching and laughing to those helps her unwind. She looks forward to laughing at what these performers do because it helps her face another day. I hereby award everyone involved with Whose Line infinite points!

the outro made me tear up a bit. I would love to see it continue, even if the old cast can't come back! New generations will see the show and maybe they'll feel how I feel about it now. I'm being reminded everyday about nostalgic things it seems like, and it is a little bittersweet...but I see my son experiencing things and it kinda makes it all worth it! c: Good episode, thanks for putting in the work!

The "Marioplex" being brought back gave me such a rush of nostalgia. My mouth was wide open, and I was grinning ear to ear because of my excitement. Fun fact: the reason it's called French fries is mainly due to ww1 and ww2. On the warfronts, mainly in Belgium, they made fried potatoes for the soldiers to eat. But because the people who made the fries spoke French, even though they were in Belgium, the soldiers thought they were FRENCH FRIES. Hence the trend continues

This gets even crazier when you remember Ryan and Colin (as well as Greg) appeared on the UK Whose Line. Imagine adding all THOSE points to the total!

Actually, no. Although part of the family of shows, it's still an individual entity. Points earned in the UK would count towards a separate total for that particular regional variation of the show; they would simply be ranked with the other UK participants.

I can't remember if the standard denomination was hundreds or thousands, but either way it's not changing the million point difference between Ryan and Colin, let alone the arbitrarily large gap between Laura and whoever ends up in sixth place. Ironically, the points from the version where the points did matter... don't matter.
