This is how I would line up against Texas: DE: Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins NT: Nazir Stackhouse DT: Christen Miller LOLB: Jalon Walker ILB: CJ Allen ROLB: Mykel Williams LCB: Daylen Everette SS: KJ Bolden FS: Dan Jackson RCB: Ellis Robinson IV NB: Malaki Starks This is a 5-1 “Penny” look that a lot of NFL teams are doing. It forces one-on-one’s for the offensive line, and it allows a lot of different, creative pressures. What I love about this package is that it allows the front guys to rush and the cover guys to cover. There have been a lot of miscommunications on the back end this year. Let’s simplify things. Let’s not do anything too crazy. There is a path to victory, and I think the adjustments are there. It all depends on if we make them.

54:32. That's the type of play that Nakobe Dean would blow up every time. Safety comes down to seal the outside run. Outside Linebacker shifts out and beats the route by either picking the ball off, knocking it away, or making an incredible tackle 5 yards in the backfield. Saw him do it for 2 years. Nolan Smith was really good at it too. CJ Allen has the speed, but doesn't have that instinct yet as soon as the QB rolls out.

You have to realize how young UGA is still. The fact we’re still playing well and only loss was to a bama team who played the best ball for two quarters than they’ve played in all 4 for the last 2 years. Once the defense figure milroe out, it was game over. Offense not putting up points until late is the sole reason for that loss. If the offense and defense can get on the same page and play with the same intensity like we know they can, there isn’t a team out there that can beat them. We just haven’t seen that complete synchronization yet but I feel it’s coming.

Texas isn't that good and I think UGA will expose them and show people they haven't played a worthy SEC talent team. Before i even watch, i think i know what happened to Georgia's defense. They were expecting a very run heavy offense from MSU, because that's what they did against Texas. Van Buren has only played one game worth of Tape for Georgia to look at, so they can only predict what they have seen. No one knew they were going to come out and throw 37 passes when their last game they only threw 23 passes and competed just 12 of those. Van Buren's passing ability was relatively unknown. How can you prepare for something that you had no clue was going to happen? That's just my take on it though

They had 6 sacks and 11 tackles for loss and the only touchdown they yeilded was late in the fourth quarter right. Capable offenses or not do you know how hard it is to only give up 6.3 points a game in today's football. Turn on the tape and you won't see blown coverages, or missed assignments. Any team so far who had tried to pass on them ends up turning it over or getting sacked. By the 3rd quarter Texas is milking the clock. So the they ain't played nobody is a mirage. Can UGA come in to Austin and win, sure it's college football. Are the odds UGA come to Austin at night against a Sark offense and a stout defense and win... meh highly unlikely. I promise you the answer to that last question is a resounding yes! That's not me saying Texas is going to blow UGA out or that Texas is great. What I am saying is Texas is consistently consistent regardless of the opponent. I think Shumer overthinks opposing offenses and had his guys confused at times. It’s as if they underestimated MIss states ability to throw the ball down field seeings how they haven’t done much of that all year. On a lot of these busted coverages it’s as if Shumer has the secondary thinking Jet sweep or QB option with no one covering over the top. Shumer also overthought the first quarter in the bama game and had his guys completely miss aligned and set up for failure. Either way, people need to stop freaking out. Georgia can beat Texas and if they do they are championship bound. I don’t see Tennessee or ol miss beating UGA.ohio state and Oregon didn’t really impress me much. Texas is the only hurtle (they haven’t really played anyone). UGA hasn’t put together 4 strong quarters yet. If they do they can beat anyone despite having weaknesses.

Coach Smart Please teach the LB how to cover the RB out of the backfield.. It's a really basic play but when they are not covered it leads to easy TDs.. See I don't get paid millions & even I know that.. lol Pulling for you coach! This is the worst product I've seen on the field since you came to GA. I think the team looked better your very 1st yr!
