Out of nowhere, she found these lovely talented actors. They were incredible in the film. Take Jack O'connell, not only his acting was amazing, his Italian-American accent was flawless despite he is British and a ginger. I love Emily Blunt and as for an established actress, her accent was so terrible in Sunshine Cleaning as playing an American. Miyavi is also so memorizing despite the film was his first big acting project. The whole film was really a newly beautiful breath of fresh air. Congratulation to Jolie as well as a director.

Of all the World War Two movies out there, especially ones made in this decade, this movie was by far the best. It really did emphasize the human spirit and resilience. A little bit of gore, but not too overdone to the point that it becomes tiring and you lose the audience halfway. It shows the war wasn't just about violence, rather it played on human emotions as well. I saw "Fury" this year with Brad Pitt, and I have to say "Unbroken" is way waaaay better. Highly recommend this to anyone!! :)
@GentlemanJackabee3 жыл бұрын
I know this is 6 years late... (KZbin algorithm brought me here) But I completely agree. Although Fury is absolutely incredible and have watched it MANY times, Unbroken is still beats it. But I genuinely don't think anything, will top Saving Private Ryan. (But that's just my opinion)

Hacksaw Ridge is a close second. Too bad Andrew Garfield prayed to Desmond Doss and channeled a familiar spirit to have it act through him. But until I saw the interview where he admitted that I sorta preferred Hacksaw Ridge because it had a formerly favored actor in it. Well, off to weeding out dvds I used to like.

i am such a big fan of Angelina Jolie with all her previous movies but when i heard that she was directing such a meaningful and inspiring true story i was very interested in seeing how its all going to work out but from just watching this trailer it brought me to tears! just the damn trailer! i know that this will be such an amazing movie and i am so desperate to watch it! i think it could be (from what i have just seen) one of the most moving stories ever transformed into a movie. It makes it just that much more sad knowing that its a true story... R.I.P Louis Zamperini

I have never been a big fan of Angie, mostly because action movies are just not my thing and she was into them for so long.....I also have come to see her as being somewhat on the opposite side of Christianity, which is why her making this movie about faith in God on the coat tails of Maleficent makes me wonder what is going on with her......she promotes the devil one day and God another.....very interesting, and I am interested to see what she does next....movies bore me for the most part...I used to be a movie buff but they got really boring and lost me.....this movie is worth watching...I was riveted, to be quite honest....I will check out her next film for sure with a critical eyes that will look at the role faith is playing in the story....what are you up to Angie....?
@stevenmitchell110 жыл бұрын
Before she became a star in meaningless action movies, she acted in several well-known movies that showcased her acting talent, such as Gia and Girl, Interrupted. But she seems to have a purpose and a wider sense of the world than endocrinal impulse that appear to drive the majority of Hollywood and its productions.
@trishtv831010 жыл бұрын
Steven Mitchell You think....perhaps.....and I was a fan during the Gia etc years.....she was brilliant.....I think she is smart enough and independent enough and stubborn enough to find her own way through to truth....I think she has a bigger heart than Brad and most of Hollywood....I think she is DEEP......I think if we were put in a position where her fame did not interfere I would get on with her.....I am just watching with interest......

The diary of the Allied Forces captive in Japan. "We were given enough food" MacArthur. "Japan did not do any criminal act" "The United States advertised Japan as a criminal to the world" "However, it is the United States to have derived Japan to war" "The United States began war if the United States was driven into the situation same as Japan by other countries" The reason why this movie is criticized is to make clear fiction a historical fact. Watanabe did not start for its new post formally to a prisoners' camp. He returned to Tokyo by the order of the commander immediately. "Zamperieni was different from other captives, and he resisted a prison guard too much" "Therefore the prison guard hit him for order maintenance" The original. It "is Japanese traditional culture to eat a live human being" Japan does not have such a culture. A Japanese is different from a Chinese. Angie should make Chinese "modern man-eating culture" a movie. The sponsor of this movie is a Chinese group and a Korean group and a South Korean company. Government post same as MRVP of the Nazis is in Korea. It is an indirect sponsor of this movie. A purpose of Korean MRVP. "I change history textbooks of the world to the right history content that the Korean government created" The Korean government contracts with an American scholar, and the Korean government lets them write a product made in Korea fiction history article. The 90s. The American Chinese group demanded the investigation into barbaric act by the Japanese military from the U.S. Government. The last working papers of the U.S. Government. "There was no evidence to prove the barbarity of the Japanese military" Seoul university professor. "I was asked for an investigation into barbarity (comfortwomen) of the Japanese military by the Korean government" "I investigated documents of the world" "However, there was no evidence to prove the history that the Korean government insisted" on "However, there is the evidence to deny testimony of comfortwomen a lot" "The Korean government only wants materials criticizing Japan" Korean military top commander in the Vietnam War. For the cruelty that we performed to a Vietnamese private citizen, it is not that we should apologize. It is because it is war. The existing Park President. It "is to insult the honor of the soldier to criticize the cruelty (rape, plunder, arson, slaughter, etc) of the Korean military for the Vietnamese private citizen" In "war, it is natural that a private citizen becomes a victim" "Therefore the Korean government must not apologize to all war crimes victims by the Korean military"
