Not excusing his approach to the interview but you have to admit that at the time Tarantino was this larger-than-life force of nature of a director. People couldn't help but ask questions about him. Uma's performance needed time to ruminate in people's consciousness for a few years.

Uma was just on fire in these films. They were a great vehicle for her. Tarantino got truly stellar performances out of his main players, each and every one of them. The films are mythical, almost like the swords made by Hatori Hanzo.

Charlie totally misunderstood what Uma was saying about Quentin being a self taught original director. Of course all directors are influenced by other movies and art, but her point was that he doesn't feel bound to any typical formulas or narrative styles, he believes in his vision 100%

I guess you're being sarcastic about the interviewer. Yes, Charlie Rose was often very good. Here, he uses his guest to get answers about somebody else. I don't think he did as much research beforehand as he should have. Had he done his homework, maybe the questions would have generated more enlightening answers.

She's amazing but the host is a bit insufferable here. He interrupts and tries to talk over her throughout the whole interview. Not to mention he dropped a few spoilers before the film was even released. The hospital pimping scenario being the most notable one.

The moment the interviewer said so your saying Tarantino is like any other director he unveiled his objective which was to make Uma Thurman look bad.But an honest good hearted woman will only keep showing humbleness and many good deeds from her heart which pushes out trapers such as this interviewer.I just do not like that Tarantino ended up having his way with Uma total unprofessional and really shows that Tarantino was scared lost that he had to have Uma to actually feel in total control but sadly it backfired as well. Uma you are a great woman.
