God this was such an awesome theme song, catchy, simple, captured the cheesy humor that was peppered throughout this series' run. Wish they would bring it back. I actually liked this show. For a Filmation project it was a surprisingly good time.

Agreed! This theme song is so bouncy and catchy and makes for a grand ear-gasm! And much like fellow Filmation's He-Man & the Masters of the Universe, the lyrics, while minimized, sound so epic and engaging! I always said this before: I really like Filmation's Ghostbusters... but I LOVE DiC's The Real Ghosbusters!!! Regardless of the company... Let's Go Ghostbusters, one and all! : )

I sure took a lot of flak from my classmates in kindergarten, simply because I preferred Filmation's Ghostbusters over the Real Ghostbusters. I still watch my boxed set on DVD, and will do so again now that October is here.

Lou Scheimer and Thank You for all the years that you've entertained us Ghostbusters vs. Prime Evil, now THAT is a Grudge Match Ghostbusters had the powers of He-Man, except they use the Ghost Dematerializer, GB was sort of their version of Battlecat, except that he can fly, Belfry Bat was their version of Orko without the magic, Futura is not only sexy, but she's also a rendition of the Sorceress and Jessica the Red Head Reporter was like a rendition of Teela, except she doesn't use a sword and Prime Evil was their version of Skeletor Could ya imagine if the Ghostbusters teamed up with He-Man, She-Ra and BraveStarr along with Battlecat teamed up with Spirit, GB and Thirty-Thirty, Teela, Jessica and Judge JB McBride, The Sourceress, Furtura and Shaman, Man at Arms, Doc Clayton, Handlebar, and Orko, Madamrazz, Cowl, Belfry and Deputy Fuzz against Skeletor, Hordock, Prime Evil and Tex Hex and their allies? That would we TOTALLY AWESOME!

I have all seasons of filmations He-man, She-ra, Ghostbusters, and Bravestarr including the movie. I love all 4 and the Bravestarr movie is really underrated, it looks amazing. Wish they didn’t go out of business, always liked there shows.

I’d love to see this in a movie. That sequence when they go into an alternate dimension to change into their uniforms and end up in the car. Also the gorilla driving is still hilarious. Rob Zombie could do this.

The original yet forgotten Ghostbusters. Just like ALF's Tanner family, Real Ghostbusters may be the popular version of GB and Full House may have lasted longer and their Tanner family may be more popular but they're not the original. ALF had the Tanner name first, it started one year before Full House. Original Ghostbusters started in 1975 on CBS. Filmation's Ghostbusters animated series began in 1986 as well as the ABC version of Real Ghostbusters. RGB lasted much longer and was more popular but not the original.

Love this theme the show is mediocre at best animation is brilliant though very fluid and great but the writing is terrible they wait to long to get the ghost so the Ghost always gets them and the comedy is so outdated even for the time it came out there should have been lots more action in the series but i have to say i love prime evil such a cool character and i especially love his voice
