***SPOILERS AHEAD*** Jaime losing his sword hand was honestly one of the last important and cutting (no pun intended) things to happen in this entire series. Every time it’s referenced I feel like I’m getting punched in the gut. Other than the red wedding and the beheading of Ned Stark, Jaime’s dismemberment is up there in the list of top shocking moments of GoT history

I am the very last living human in the western world to ever see GoT with fresh eyes, and I have deliberately avoided all spoilers (except for some final dragonny scenes I was privileged to to see the breakdowns of years ago before most others as Im involved in CGI but I wiped that from my mind and only looked technically. Thank you for this Game of Thrones Recap series Film Cram! This whole recap series is fucking awesome and is really well done, so cheers for that. As a huge fan and uber nerd of the Song of Ice and Fire series this recap series is a fucking gold mine, lol. There is just something about the Song of Ice and Fire series that I just can't get enough of. I have read all five books twice and am preparing to start a 3rd read through of the books in anticipation for the release of "The winds of Winter" and "A dream of Spring." Waiting for him to finally finish the last 2 books has been fucking torture, lol. Considering the original novel "A game of thrones" released way back in 1996, and the latest book "A dance with dragons" released in 2011, there are people who have been waiting over 20 fucking years for the conclusion of the Song of Ice and Fire series. At this point I hope he's planning on releasing both "winds" and "dream" together because he's getting pretty old and at this rate he might actually pass away before he is able to finish it. I realize that "A dance with Dragons" released in 2011, which is also the same year that the TV show aired so he has been a lot busier than he had previously been while writing the previous books, but c'mon Mr. Martin this is getting ridiculous, lol. There have been rumors of "Winds" releasing as far back as 2015, yet each year passes by with nothing but rumors of potential releases and now they don't even know if it will be out in the 2019 calendar year. So I'm the meantime all of us readers who have been waiting for the continuation of the end of "Dance", where Meereen is under attack from the wise masters and wondering if Selmy is going to survive defending Meereen, or what Brienne is planning on doing after lady Stone Heart was getting ready to hang her unless she goes and kills Jaime, and about a dozen other cliff hangers since 2011, good ole George has announced the release of the 640+ page "fire and blood" book which is supposedly a collection of stories of the Targaryens and other stories 300 years before the events of the main novels. I'm all for more stories and books and shows set in the ASOIAF universe, but I really, really, really want to finish the huge epic that has spanned 5 huge novels over a 20 year span before I start reading other stories, lol. I know there are other novellas set in Westeros, like the Dunc and Egg hedge night books and others, but for the love of God please release the last 2 books before you start releasing other 600+ books or God forbid before you die of old age and leave the world without a conclusion to one of the greatest fantasy epics of our time, lol. I'm the meantime while I'm waiting for the final novels and the last season of the show it is series like film Cram! and it's recaps that get me through, lol. The show is so well made that even though I've seen every episode multiple times and enjoy watching KZbin theory videos and there is even a series called "the fate of (insert character)" and " the adventures of (insert character) ", which will pick a character and have a video that shows their entire characters story from the beginning to the end, unless the character is still alive. There are scenes from the show (like Lyanna Mormont declaring Jon the king in the north, or when Dany gets her unsullied army and kills all the slavers, etc.) that are so amazing that even though I've seen them a dozen times I still get the chills and goosebumps every time I see it. Anyways what I was getting at was having a series of videos that spends 20+ recapping each season is fucking awesome, lol.
