It doesn't depend if you are Hindu, Muslim, or of any community. The respect not given and when patience is tested it is a need to step out of that toxicity and voice for yourself. The fact Jaya's own parents weren't supportive and she had weird in-laws is something very common even now in 2022-2023. I have been into Jaya's shoes and know how terrible it feels to give your best for everyone around you and yet left devastated at the end. Your efforts, your initiation your willingness means not to the one who doesn't appreciate you. You aren't enough for the one who isn't ready to accept you.
